I know the first one got locked because it immediately turned personal, and I said so in the thread.
The second one seemed okay right up until a certain politician was named, which history indicates is the spot where the conservation immediately devolves into a flame war. I imagine it was locked as a precautionary measure.
So far, this one's stayed on topic without the requisite name-calling and blame laying. As long it stays that way, I can see them letting this one stay.

As long as this stays specifically on the topic of what will baseball do and stay away from political discussion, it should be fine.

I appreciate the response but at what point does Covid become political? Just curious cause if you're talking about Mozzarella cheese, you're bound to discuss meatball subs. So is it strictly when it leaves baseball and is discussed in a matter of opening schools? Or is Covid considered completely political now because people.

Anyone who didn't know, Marlins v Orioles game was canceled due to an outbreak of Covid, they played in Philadelphia last night and Philadelphia is hosting the Yankees and that game was canceled for the same reason.
I was surprised they locked the topic up as well. Guess someone higher up had a say in it.

First off, thanks for the response. 2nd, Where do you draw the line for what can and can't be in General Discussion? I have posted MLB related stuff in GD, and it is left alone. The Coronavirusrelates to MLBTHESHOW. If the season gets cancelled, no more inside edge or roster updates. Why can't we talk about the current state of the world?
