Do we get hints for the Collection?

I’m hoping for Hank Aaron or Clemente. With all the other new Braves added this season, I keep thinking Hank.
I would love Hank but keep telling myself he's too big a name to drop mid-year. Hopefully I'm wrong...
Clemente I would lose my mind over if they got his rights!
-
I say it's Arod. I don't know about having his rights but I am sure they can get them easily. It better not be Ruth, Griffey, Mays when they have been in the game for 3+ straight years.
-
If it’s A-rod, I hope it’s young skinny Arod when I actually liked him. I still would rather have an older legend like Hank or Clemente. I keep rolling it around in my head that they may have gotten Hank’s rights when they signed Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz. They definitely have leaned heavily towards the Braves so far this year.
-
Maybe a better willie May’s?
-
I’m telling ya it’s babe Ruth

what about a super juiced Rogers Hornsby card? Everyone loved his offense last year and they could give him better offensive stats with a little more speed and a little better D than last years card. Just a thought. I agree though, Hank or Clemente would be awesome if thats who it was!

That dude was my 4 hole hitter from wire to wire in 19. Absolute stud!

I loved Rogers Hornsby last year, but making him a very expensive collection reward two years in a row would kind of be a weak move. I would also be a lot perturbed if Mays is the collection reward for the same reason.

He was a stud last year for sure. I like defense on my team but I would try and find a way to have him in my lineup a lot, either second or third.

I would agree that it could be a weak move. Just thinking of guys we know they have rights to already and what the weaker positions in the game are. I think it will be someone at a position that isn't as strong as some of the others. In my opinion, that would either be a SS, 2B, or C. Every other position I think already has a lot of good options to choose from. I would also be perturbed if it was Mays. As much as I would love to see a similar Mays card in the game that would also be a weak move.

Yup... Same here. No way to justify taking him out of lineup last year.

Is the general consensus that it’ll be a new “hidden” legend? That’s what I have assumed. I would be a little disappointed if it turns out to be Babe or Foxx or Griffey or someone we already had last year. Honus was such an out-of-left field surprise last year and I’m hoping they are going to wow us again.
A middle infielder or catcher would definitely be very much appreciated! Yogi, Fisk, Josh Gibson, or Campanella would be awesome. And to keep in the spirit of Honus, I really would love for it to be another dead ball era guy. Nap Lajoie and Eddie Collins would be really exciting too!
-
My guess is it’s a new legend we haven’t had yet this year. Just a hunch.

The main hint is that it is not Honus
And it is a position player because they said it would be in all of our LINEUPS
So then it's for certain a single card? There has been speculation it could be multiple cards.

I wished for multiple. If you saw my list you know who I’ll pay stubs for

On the stream they said something like, “you’re gonna have this guy in your lineup the rest of the year”
Something like that. They did say it’s a little bit different than last year, so we can’t rule anything out. But it sounds like for sure the main collection reward will be a hitter.
-
the one thing it did sound like is it is a 1 player reward though which I would've personally preferred more especially if that one player ends up being underwhelming

I know they're working in more 90s-00s legends this year, but somebody like this would be great. I'd also love somebody like a '67 Yaz or '30 Hack Wilson.

Chuck Klein, Hugh Duffy, Sam Thompson, Mel Ott, Al Simmons, Hank Greeberg, Norm Cash, Johnny Mize are all players (not in the game) who are HOFers that had huge seasons.

I think it’s Aaron. I know Sosa and McGuire were a big deal but Aaron chasing down Ruth was huge. Ruth was a God and Aaron took the hr crown. Plus Aaron would be an absolutely elite card like honus was last year. Basically last years mays with a little less speed and a lot more power. McGuire would be fun but his card would basically be the Hr derby Alonso.
