Who is the Diamond card that was an afterthought for you and has completely exceeded your expectations with their performance?
Mine is Sandberg.
He was never even a bench bat for me but his performance during the last and current event have earned him a call to my RS squad.

I bought a couple Mattinglys thinking eventually his price will go up (it has not). Dude has been money pinch hitting for me though

Heard good things about Miñoso... Still haven't given him a try but will probably give him a chance in this event.

Mine has been Buster Posey. I've been using Torre since he dropped and have been very pleased with him, I just picked up Posey when I hit diamond and frankly I'm shocked at how good he is. I know it's probably old news, but I'm impressed.
I did a quick eyeball numbers and red Torre is 16-18 points higher than Posey, but it's mostly all in speed/stealing, which really makes 0 difference as both aren't fast and I won't be stretching any base hits or stealing bags with them. He crushes lefties to the point of absurdity and he hits solid liners off of righties for lots of base hits. I'm hitting almost .500 with him since picking him up (relatively small sample size) and he's immediately made a difference in my lineup.
Someone mentioned being able to prestige Posey at some point, is that true?
