Diamond Player Item flash sale?

Edit: Never mind. I thought it was actual items, like diamond items and not players.
15k for a random diamond item seems to be a terrible use or stubs considering you can get any absolutely must have diamond items for around 5-9k.
Am I missing something here or is this not at at all worth it?

The flash sale is for a Headliner card sets 11-36. Got Dibble, sold him for 90K. I'd say it was worth it. Turned around and got Panda for 30K.

He's in the veteran program. There aren't too many Veteran program cards in the game. And even if he doesn't, I'll juist quicksell him for a 10K stub loss. I really don't care lol.
