What does the diamond with the green arrow above it mean?
-
Just got Altuve. And he is a 85 with the green arrow going up to 87. I saw this last year but what does it actually mean
Forgive me if it something obvious. -
Inside edge, he gets a boost in his stats today based on his real life matchup vs his opponent
-
Inside edge is based on the real life matchup of that player, so if Altuve does well historically against whatever pitcher is on the mound, he gets a bonus, if he's bad, he gets a minus

So, if I were to play Kyle Schwarber in RS today, and he is good against Woodruff, he would get better stats in RS?

Yes, you can see the boost he gets by pressing triangle over the card in your inventory or in-game

Bite your tongue!

Inside edge is great! Trout can now be even more useable playing above a 95!
