SDS threw out a huge curve ball saying how you collect the "Wagner" set will be different.

Will not spike enough to make stubs. Larry Walker is still one of the best outfielders in the game which keeps the innings set price at where it is. Stub sale only increased the sell now price around 5k of each one. Means the set is pretty stable. Not much movement either way.
2 of the 3 being sig series made an impact before announcement but now? until we know how to complete the set, their price wont change

One option you didn't cover.
Last year, you had a set number you had to reach for each card type (example: you needed 80 Signature cards to get the Signature voucher) And then you had to have vouchers for every card type in order to get Honus.
What if they changed it up so that each collection is tiered? Example: 20 All Star cards gets you 1 AS voucher, 40 AS cards gets you 2 vouchers etc. The final collection would then be something like "Exchange 12 card vouchers" and it didn't HAVE to be one of each.

Quite possible, but as far as market pricing... it will be same as collect x amount of unique cards. Will allow people to stay away from high end cards. It will even out the market on cards over all.

market seems to have settled. Really confused about what happened. News today wasn't anything peeps didn't already know, if anything it led to more uncertainty. For whatever reason there was a mad buying spree it looks like. Can anyone shed any light?

We learned a lot we didn’t know. The fact that it’s not Wagner was a big deal. What we have to collect is different, is a big deal.
Buying spree was due to people coming home from work and buying cards on the hype of who the card may be.

Market just exploded again, this was right after the 6th inning drop. This time I was ready and sold all my prime around 20k each... made a ton! Don't understand it though. The event has 2 ducks in the pond packs so will increase the supply for Rodney, Kingman etc... so Why was there a mad rush to buy them up?

Is it possible that SDS bought all these cards to manipulate the market and take out the supply? It did happen right after the drop and also noticed the market page was not updating.

Looks like it's due to the prime missions and collections. Was at work and couldn't check. Glad I queued up my extra prime players!

Murphy dropped big time. Perez is around same price. Kingman went up like 8,000. Hernandez and Queto went up like four and five thousand.

The market is nuts! I just made 100k in an hour buying and selling Kingman, Orlando and Rodney. Perfect storm of peeps dumping when they open the packs and peeps buying to compete the collection.
