You can buy some of my cards I have for sale that I got hosed on and I'm praying they go up again so I can get all those stubs back
What cha' got buddy?
Ha! I don't think we are allowed to talk about that here. Besides, last I checked there were other orders in front of mine anyway.

Meant to say what cards aren't working for you. As I'm looking for upgrades at some spots, I'm all ears for opinions and experiences with cards I do not have. No insider deals intended.
-
Belli needs to be in the outfield and put sheff on the bench

Sold off Walker and Brett last night before the new cards hit today and with it being close to the season start, I was more motivated to wrap it up.
I do have a few holes I'd like to shore up and would like all your input. Shortstop I have POTM Correa. And while he's not been a big issue, he has had a few alarming errors in RS. At 3B I can see some issues platooning LS Arenado and the 92 Schmidt. The 92 Schmidt lack of great contact and with Arenado I couldn't hit with him very well last year. His stance just throws me.
I also hesitate to have Sheff in right, those defensive stats and lack of speed are a concern. I'm currently approaching the Div. Series in RS and would love to get out of AS purgatory. Here is my team and let me know honestly where I can improve....
Biggio/Buster platoon
1B: Big Papi
2B: SS Jackie
SS: POTM Correa
3B: Schmidt/Arenado platoon
RF: 99 Sheff
CF: Mantle
LF: TroutBench:
93 Gwynn
99 Posey
92 Piazza
92 Giambi
POTM BellingerStarters:
1: CY: Kluber
2: CY: Greinke
3: SS: Hamels
4: Walter Johnson
5: DeGromRelief:
1: LS Hader
2: 88 Doolittle
3: 88 Cody Allen
4: 87 Plesac
5: POTM Neris
6: 94 Wagner
CP: FingersI'm approaching the Choice Pack again and not sure where to turn. Larkin as a permanent SS to displace Correa. Jackson as a bench bat. Sandberg at 3rd. Minoso as a utility in LF or 3B. I have 122k in stubs as well and can go on the market or save for Teddy Ballgame (I can dream, right?)
What say you? Thanks in advance.
I understand your hesitation to put Sheff in RF. I like having good D in the OF so I have never used him out there. I would suggest giving him a shot at 3B. His bat is too good in my opinion not to have in your lineup and he has been rock solid for me at third. He makes every routine play for me, I dont even remember the last time he made an error.

Go get that 99 Gwynn to stick in right and move Sheffield to left or 3rd. I got his batting average near .350 on near 200 abs when my best guys live around .275
-
Get Walker back
-
Bellinger in RF, I use POTM Didi at 3B. i do not care for Correra. Larkin at SS. I also use SS Sandberg at 3B with Robinson at 2B.
My best team with the cards I have
C Piazza/Perez/Bench
1B McCovey/McGriff
2B SS Ronbinson/
SS Larkin
3B SS Sandberg/POTM Didi
LF Jackson
CF Henderson
RF POTM Bellinger -

Been looking at that card and Dawson for some time. Right now I'm alternating between grinding TA and Inning Programs that I didn't finish.
Does that Gwynn card have some sneaky power to it? I care more about contact and that card looks great.

Move sheffield to third and get walker to put him in right. 5 tool player

I have about 10 HR with him. Only reason I don't put him in the 3 hole is that he can really rattle an opponent out of the gate. I'm getting similar results with Mattingly, except he's a doubles machine.

Sheffield at 3rd is fantastic. His arm guns fast guys out that would otherwise get a cheese base hit.
-
I don’t know how you platoon Arenado and Schmidt if they both hit LHP, but I would put Sheffield at 3B and buy back Walker or put Bellinger in RF.
-
Sheffield at 3rd and put Bellinger in RF. Then your team is set.
