Musial's card is based on the 1948 season (his best year in a career full of amazing years). This card is gonna have 120+ contact and 100+ power from both sides of the plate. Also 120+ vision. He'll also have 1B as a secondary position. After they reveal the boss attributes on Thursday's stream, I think there will be many more people considering taking Stan The Man.
If it's based on 1948 season, in which he played 5 innings at first and gets it as a secondary, may as well give everyone a secondary.

No. Not really. If he played the position, he played the position. Therefore he should get the secondary. If a player doesn't play the position he shouldn't get the secondary. It's really quite simple.

He’s gonna be my first baseman if it is included as secondary, no doubt. That will put Eddie Murray and that switch hitting bat on my bench. Psyched.

I'm sure he'll have it. I'm just saying 5 innings in the entire year is not much playing time there. I guess if Lindor can have 2b and 3b as secondaries and hasn't played a major league inning anywhere but short Musial can have 1st. At least he had some full seasons there

You're right, it's not much playing time. But I just figure if they can give Salvador Perez's awards card a 1B secondary for playing 1 game there all year it's a safe bet that Stan will have it.

I'd say I'd go for Maddux. However, I'm not crazy about his All-Star card repertoire. Too soft of a thrower for my liking.
Don’t count out the possibility that SDS gives him a 93-95 mph sinker because apparently every pitcher that ever stepped on a mound has that pitch
HaHaHa... so true.

Will there be a glitch where Gwynn never strikes out against Maddux?

But the Sinker was Maddox’s best pitch! Besides Rivera, who are all the pitchers with made up sinkers?
Rivera threw a sinker but not that much. Rodney never threw one
I’ve checked most of the pitchers, and I think SDS has been pretty accurate with the sinkers, at least according to baseballsavant.

I am leaning towards Maddux right now, but I might have to make a calculated choice of Musial.
I am not too excited about these cards, my choice might be dictated on the "Honus" collection requirements.
If I need a lot more SS cards the choice is Maddux, but if I need award winners, the choice would be Stan the Man.Don't kill me for not being too excited about these cards, I am just a bigger fan of other players.
As far as Maddux is concerned, the SS Mariano card taught me a lesson. If I was a bleep show with preorder card (Maddux had an 88 OVR) what makes me think I will do better with better version of that same player?Mariano was so bad, that after grinding out his prestige stats on HOF, meaning it was not a small sample size and I used him a lot before selling him. I sold him rather than picking up his blood diamond card. I bought Walker with the proceeds and I am happy with the choice.
Oh yeah I don’t blame you. The 5th inning program might be the best we’ve ever seen so this is definitely a bit of a come down. Personally I’ve been pretty good with both Walker and Rivera. I think the Maddux card depends on what velocity they give him. If he’s throwing 95+ along with the repertoire of pitches he currently has he could easily be a top 3 pitcher in the game.
Maddux doesn't need that much velocity to work, look at FOTF Hershisher. He is very effective without a traditional fastball.
Yeah that's a perfect example. Hershiser is filthy without having overpowering stuff.

I’m gonna take Maddux but buy the other 2
