Hitting lately
-
Something I’ve noticed the past few days when using right-handed hitters, I can’t stop myself from pushing the PCI outside. Anyone else have this happen? Every swing, the PCI is right of where I want it to be. I can’t stop it. Even when I try to stop it, I still do it. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Sometimes the PCI doesn’t even feel like it’s going where I’m pushing. Best I can tell, it’s pretty much only when I’m hitting right-handed. I don’t think it happens lefty.
This happen to anyone else? How do you fix it?
And the exit velocities, for the most part, still seem low when I hit it. Another thing I’ve noticed is balls just floating in the air when hit. I think something will fall and it just stays up there as the fielder runs underneath. Maybe this is related to exit velocity but the ball just seems to hang in the air. I’ve been thrown out a few times becuase I advance runners thinking it’s going to fall and it floats up there.

It all has to do with the pitcher that is throwing and how good the particular hitter is against a lefty or righty, etc..Exit velocity and such is not really a factor in this game. It's how good you make contact with the ball and how well you follow the ball out of the pitchers hand. Try shutting off the PCI. It does help you watch the ball better and use the left stick the same as if the PCI was on. I still get disturbed by perfect contact on fastball in the hitters power zone and it's popped up in between the pitcher and the catcher. It just is what is I guess. I scream at this game all the time but I keep playing it. So I guess I must kinda like it.
