Get it together SDS 🤦♂️

I find it ridiculous that it’s the end of July and we still have very few playable options at catcher. SDS finally released a usable catcher (Grandal) and gave this man an overall rating of 7 speed lol. How slow do you have to be to get that rating. I wanna see his 40 time because it seems they have that rating based on the moments in which you have to get 2 extra base hits. Good thing I hit 2 home runs because it’s almost impossible to get a double with that walking pile of molasses.
-
If I’m not mistaken, he has a consistently low speed rating each year. They don’t need to give someone a speed rating if they aren’t fast lol. I’m a Giants fan so I watched him play a lot and he’s pretty dang slow.
-
Look I understand being slow and all but a 7 rating? Lol How slow do you have to be.

Could be worse,
Molina - is a 0
Molina - FOTF card is a 5
Grandal - LS series card is a 6.
Austin Allen - 0
Martin Maldonado - 5
Wilson Ramos - 0
Tucker Barnhart - 0
Jacob Stallins - 9
Austin Hedges - 10Most catchers are not gazelles on the base paths.
-
I played MTO with the Marlins. Jesus Aguilar began the season with a zero speed rating.
By the time the post season rolled around his speed "improved" to a 1.
LMFAO!!! -
Even among catchers, Grandal's sprint speed rates among the lowest quintile.
He's just not fast.

Catcher and speed is not something you hear much outside of pop time.
Pudge and JT will be the only backstops that have any serviceable speed. With that said unless they give us JT's 2108 finest card(fingers crossed) 99 Pudge will be the only primary catcher speed option
-
I use my CAP at catcher and he has 68 speed (89 contact focus with equipment)

Apparently Jorge Alfaro has 75/80 speed but that's very rare for a catcher.

It’s like catchers are slower than other positions or something

Why the 2018? The 2019 finest was much better iirc.

As a Cards fan I rarely ever use any form of Molina. They screwed his FOTF card up bad. They couldve at least gave him gold defense geez

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed with his defense on the FOTF, I get that he's not in his prime anymore, but I guess we can hope for a gold glove awards card at some point.

As much as i don't like Molina (I completely respect him though because he's had a terrific carrer) i really have to agree. SDS butchered his FOTF card he's better then that.

I prefer the card art and the Marlins need some love in the flashback depart. That being said so do the Philles so I guess either works
