Remember you heard it here first about the chase collection

There will be three rewards for this collection. Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire and the final reward is Barry bonds. Last year was one card for the entire collection which was honus. This one will have tiers for the people that cannot finish the entire collection. "The chase" is clearly for the home run record as in chasing Maris' record(61), which sosa(66) and mcgwire(70) both beat. Bonds( 73) eventually broke mcgwire's record.

No chance

This is must be a troll post!!! Barry Bonds cannot be a part of any collection as he owns the rights to his name and likeness and it’s been this way for many years. So nice try kid but back to the drawing board
-
Yeah that's a hard no
Bonds always refused to have his name and likeness in MLB games when he played and no chance SDS and Sony are willing to fork over the money he would likely ask for to have his rights

Can I have some of what you're smoking?

That just means he negotiates marketing on his own. And actually all retired players do that because they aren't part of the MLBPA. So really it means nothing now.
-
As marvellelous as that sounds, I'd say that is very unlikely.

Actually all retired players that are eligible for a pension remain in the Union for life. That means once you hit 5 years of service you become eligible for a partial pension and at 10 years you become eligible for the full pension. Now on to Bonds, he bought his rights outright as a player. If he had any intention of selling those rights back he would’ve done it a long time ago. He is most likely never going to give anybody the right to use his name or likeness. And having been someone who watched his whole career and knowing his personality, he is a straight up horses behind. That just solidifies my thinking that he’ll never be featured in any video game from now til eternity. It’s his way of sticking it to the man, because of how he feels he has been treated since the steroid era ended and with it his career.

Drugs are great aren't they?

Okay so if it's Reggie stocker and not Barry bonds? It's the same person so who cares what his name is. All I'm saying is if it's honus again it will be super boring and anti-climactic. how would any of you t√rd burglars know if SDS struck a deal with Barry bonds anyways? It's a lot better than the babe Ruth pitching card LOL. Who wants a lock in 2 million stubs for a slow wind up pitcher.?

I would love to see Stocker return and yeah I don’t really think it will be Honus either. The fact that it hasn’t been revealed makes me think it’ll be someone else. Plus they haven’t repeated any of the bosses in any of the programs so why would they do a repeat of the Honus collection? That wouldn’t match the theme of this year.

I remember he was supposed to be developing his own baseball game back then!
I remember him saying it will have details like the hot dog vendor in the stands.
We're still waiting!
If you want Bonds, sort of, just use the 'Legend 6' batting stance. -

You obviously have zero understanding of the man who Barry Bonds is. If he was going to release his rights to his likeness and name he would’ve done so years ago so he could collect on the royalties. That is not who that man is. That man thinks he is the next coming of Jesus Christ. That’s how arrogant he was and is to this day. He isn’t just going to sell out to SDS just because you think he will. Have a good day living in your world of ignorance!!!

Stocker would be awesome.

Or John Dowd

Now we are talking 🤯

The OP’s post. That’s the joke. I laughed.

Only possible scenario and it’s also a big “probably not” is Sosa and McGwire.
I could see maybe just McGwire.
