Doesn't every major league stadium in the game have some placard or something that says "the chase for 56". I'm assuming that alludes to the 56 game hitting streak. And since I'm sure SDS didn't say "let the chase begin" for no reason, maybe it IS Joe DiMaggio!!!

Babe Ruth has 2 cards in the game right now. One with Boston (silver) and one with Atlanta (Bronze)
Forgot he had a Braves card. Either way, neither are reliable. It's time he got his GOAT card.

It won't be a card like ted, who is a great bat with horrible defense and speed. I wouldn't lock in that many stubs for a bench bat. It's gotta be a five tool player type like honus, griffey or mays. It would be nice if there were multiple cards this year instead of just one. Maybe mays at 50%, Griffey at 75% and wagner at completion.

Gotcha. Do you think faces of the franchise will be included? Because if so then I have no shot and I’d assume a lot of others wouldn’t either as not everyone has completed team affinities

I think it will be included but might be like 15-20 of them. Not all.

I think it will be included but might be like 15-20 of them. Not all.
I agree with this, maybe 30 at the most.

It's going to be a lot harder to get this year, that's what I'm guessing. To SDS' credit, they've given us a lot of way to make stubs. But remember, last year we could sell locked cards, so everyone would do that to get that 5k for a diamond they wouldn't use. Do that enough and eventually you reach Honus. This year, no such luck. To get there, I'm assuming its going to be quite the grind.

I could see it being Mays, Ruth, Foxx, maybe Honus again. I think there would be too much backlash if they made Griffey that hard to attain.

I'm trying to think who it could be that would actually make me lock that many stubs in. Of guys who we know are in the game or were last year, I'm not sure who moves that needle. My favorite hitters who don't have their top card are Ruth, Griffey, Gehrig, Ted Williams, Pujols and Big Hurt. Not sure if those would make me lock in or not (I've done some collecting to make sure I'm ready). Maybe Ruth or Griffey. The tough part is, it's the only way to this card. There is no buying it on the market. So, if you want the best card of said player, you have to go this route.

Maybe it’s tiered with multiple cards. Seems like a popular format this year.
