I have maybe 50% of the total value I would need to get Mantle. At this point of the game, I dont think its gonna happen. If I sold all my golds and some silvers, and Rivera I could buy 97 Chapman. Worth it?

    1. 98 Eric Davis - LF
    2. 99 Larry Walker - RF
    3. 99 Mike Schmidt - 3B
    4. 97 Robinson Cano - 2B
    5. 99 Buster Posey - C
    6. 97 Cody Bellinger - 1B
    7. 95 Carlos Corea - SS
    8. 94 Shane Victorino - CF
    9. 99 Kulber, 98 Hershiser, 96 Hamels - SP

    Bench. 92 Giambi, 91 Cobb, 90 Cargo, 90 Reynolds, 92 LeMahieu

    Pen - 99 Mo, 92 Rodney, 93 Gagne, 93 Eck, 87 Neris, 87 Morton, 85 Aroldis

This is my first year playing DD. I put money in early, grinded like crazy and finished the collections early. I love using Mantle, but doing all that isn’t for everyone.

As far as selling Mo off, how do you pitch with LS Chapman? If you’re doing well with him I’d personally keep Mo and use the stubs elsewhere. Put Belli in OF for Victorino and add either Ortiz or Thome at 1B. Both bats are insane and Belli once prestiged is diamond all over the OF with a cannon.

Well, I don't really spend money on stubs and I don't have enough time to grind my way to Mantles value.

I'd rather have Victorino than Ortiz and Thome with this build. They are similar to Cano, and I dont want to be towing around a bunch of slow baserunners. And I would rather use Cano as 2B is so thin.

Victorino is underrated around here. Hes a better fielder than Belli and is easy to hit with. I'll be keeping him until a better option comes along. Keeping Belli at first keeps speed on the base paths which is rare for a 1B. My team defense is stacked all around right now with Cano being the only weak link.

I used Victorino and Prestiged him. He’s solid, but I personally feel there are better options. 1B defense ant the most critical and those bats produce a ton of runs

While Mantle is the best card in the game, completing collections is more for the sake of having it done at this point. There are plenty of good outfielders yet to be released. For most people completing the collections is just a goal to complete in the game, you don’t have to complete it to be competitive

At this point you dont have to complete the collections but if you want to go for the honus or who ever they have for the big collection this year the collections help get alot of those done. I would but Didi over Correa. I'm really just not a fan of Correa and LS Didi can mash so Diamond is even better. Belli should be in the outfield with his arm. I would put the HRD Giambi in just because of the more power almost maxed out on righties

If you hit well with Bellinger I'd say platoon with Killebrew at 1B and get Chapman. That Chapman card is great I love using him. Golds spiked hella yesterday so I said screw it and sold mine, but I also already have Mantle.

Tbh I think I would rather have 95 Groffey replace Victorino with my roster build than someone like Thome or Papi. Holding what I have in the field and waiting for better cards to upgrade Victorino while working on my pen seems like the best option.

    Thanks though.
