Andrew Dawson?

Any reviews on the Andre Dawson 99? Only used him in showdown which isn't a real good indicator but really like his swing. Card is a good mix with hitting .. defense and speed. Any feedback?

He's pretty good - I haven't had the time to give him the ol 100 AB's... but I like his swing better than Davis.. The problem is outfield is so loaded it's tough to find space for him... I currently use Gwynn, Mantle, and Walker.. Gwynn usually is the guy I take out, but he's one of the best FOTF for me.. hitting over 300, 12 HRS (sneaky power)

Yeah the Gwynn card looks really good and I always loved Gwynn as a player but for some reason I never had much luck with him on here. The fact that I'm not a very good player might have something to do with it. LOL

I'm not great either.. highest rank was CS this year.. but he's probably one of the best lead off hitters in the game.. unless you can hit with Eric Davis.. His D is great if you can leave him in Right, but I have him in left with Walker in right..

For me that's alot of the fun of the game. Finding cards that work for you. As good as that Larry Walker card is I cant hit anything with him. I think that open stance throws me off. My favorite card so far is Dylan Carlson. Seem to have the most luck with him.

Dawson is good but I prefer Eric Davis in CF, pushed Mantle to LF for him because of his 96 speed and diamond defense.

That’s my current OF too. Who do you play in LF/RF? I have Gwynn in LF, Walker in RF.

Same.... Gwynn at left walker at right.. Mantle at centre.. But when I change up my line up, it's always gwynn the odd man out... Like starting Davis at center and mantle at left... Then I'll struggle with Davis, put Gwynn in and he'll hit a random hr and ill say I'm never going to take him out... Until I lose a few and feel I need to tinker... I don't get it myself! Lol

The Dawson card has been terrific for me. Dude does everything well. He is also really a bargain compared to other options.

I second Dawson being terrific for me. He is a true 5 tool player. Best batting average on my team, maybe 2nd best OPS behind POTM Belli. Dawson patrols CF for me with Belli in RF. Their arms are fantastic.

I really loved Kemp. He really hit great for me. But I’ve always loved Dawson since MLB 17.

I put Dawson over Kemp for the defense. Kemp moved as slow as possible in center when it came to throwing the ball. I can bat with both of them but I've done better with Dawson

I’m just hitting so well with Kemp like I don’t understand he’s by far my best hitter

i made the switch. love dawsons D(fense) and im hitting well with him in a handful of games. hes batting fourth for me tho if that matters

He’s currently my lead off hitter and CF. I’m a big fan of his. Definitely a solid addition to a squad.

For me he is good at same handed hitting. On HOF I need any little help I can get. 5 tool player and a bargain for sure.
