Most of you know the struggles of playing this game endlessly.. but for the first time in 3 years of playing the show, I got him!

Now I just need another big target to go for. Any player worth grinding for? I was thinking Jackie Robinson program.. need a 2B. But was wondering if there were any other players in team affinities or whatnot to go for as well.
Hope this helps others as well.

Last year there was a really good honus wagner card that you could earn by collecting a significant number of cards from all of the different collections, and everyone on here seems to think that they'll most likely do something similar this year so I've just been buying up every fairly cheap card I can to prepare.

So players that have changed things for me are Mantle, Biggio (there's you're 2b), Bellinger, Walker, Fingers, and Oswalt. So far Kerry Wood is off to a pretty [censored] good start and has been unhittable most of the time. I run Torre at catcher and he's solid as it gets, and I just put Schmidt in at 3rd but the jury is still out, his defense is amazing but his hitting style is different. If you got Mantle you have Biggio and Shef who is a great bat and decent in the field. Bellinger is a must in my opinion and Didi is really good and could play 2b for you as well. I was running Didi at short and Correa at 3b for a long while and might go back to that if Schmidt doesn't pan out for me.

Oh, and I'll also add 99 Robinson. I think it's worth the grind. He's the anchor on my bench. Solid hitter, bunting/base running/speed, and can pretty much play anywhere in a pinch. My one complaint is that he seems to hit a lot of balls directly at outfielders but when i look at his avg. he's as solid as anyone. I like to have some speed and small ball ability on my bench to try and cheese out some runs when I get stuck in these 30k 1-0 games where apparently neither player can see the ball.

30k games? Mercy! Are you playing on legend from your backyard?

I meant combined... i lost a game the other day 1-0 where i had 18k's and he still won 1-0 with only 1 hit (solo hr). I had runners on base multiple times, couldnt get em in. On my end i could barely foul balls off...

After I finished Mantle I turned my attention to TA. Now I have at least 170 with every team and I have no idea where to focus from here haha (events and finish every ta mission for those sweet bonuses).

For stage 2, yeah that and exchanges. I really cleaned up when prices were down during the pack sales. Also did some mto. The next part of this event will have faces of the franchise players so you can get TA for them too.

I’ve been trying to figure out how I want to do these. I’ve been doing showdown to finish up stage 1 and still have about 10 runs left to finish up everyone. Then I will use all the FOTF cards in the next event to get all those. I’ve been doing the moments. I enjoy it. But sometimes it starts to feel like work.
