Chipper Jones might be the best purchase I've made off the market....

I’m a terrible hitter, but I’m hitting .350 with chipper online about 100abs in. Love that card. The only card I have a better average with after that many abs is...Mitch Garver!? Still over .400 with him. Might need to get him back in the lineup.

That whole inning was great.
-
got him very fast in the 3rd Inning programm and he still hitting .400 for me. will have him prestiged today
-
Chipper is just insane, my most consistent hitter
-
Great pickup! He is my second best hitter behind Mantle

Yea I can't take him out of my lineup. I have the 96 and he plays SS for me. We have so many great cards I don't even know what to do with him. I probably need to put him back at 3B but I put Sheff there.
I can't put Chipper in LF because I highly value great defensive OF's.
-
I've tried to take him out of my line up... The only 3b I'm hitting better with is George Brett, but I can out him a 1b... I've tried killebrew, the new Bryant and always end up with chipper...
Still need to give Schmidt a run..

The problem with his card this year is they got it wrong. His attributes are backwards. The game has him as a better right handed hitter than left handed with far more power right handed than left. He was a clearly better left handed hitter IRL than right handed. And in fact early in his career nearly gave up switch hitting because of the disparity of his splits. However he did eventually become a very good right handed hitter later in his career. Really not sure how this card got messed up like this being that all his other cards from previous years have it correct.

I agree 100% with all of this. He was a great right handed hitter but nothing like from the left side. Also wish they could give him his right handed batting stance, because he had a different stance from both sides

Contact wise he should've been about the same on both sides. Power wise, you guys are correct, he should've had more pop left handed.

I haven't prestiged him yet but I too plan to use him at SS. He's cost me a couple runs but there's no room in my OF or at 3B, I'm hoping once he's prestiged his defense gets a little better but even still his bat is too good to not have him out there.

Yep also correct, he was a little less tall and had a more compact swing where as he stood tall left handed and had that long majestic swing that was so beautiful to watch.
