True I’m just curious as a top player who plays with Texas and Miami online and dosent like DD bc I like playing with real rosters and teams and realistic as possible, how I would do against top DD players

I’m already facing the yanks, doyers, astros in most of my games with Texas and Miami and I’m 41-3 my last 44

Trust me, you'd be smoked. Nothing against you or online H2H, but the elite of the elite in DD are basically the best players in the entire game. Some of those tops players have done series where they only use bronze hitters and they still make WS, so you cannot just claim that they are using only 99's to do well.

I got 55 overall Stephen Tarpley and 55 Taylor Hearn coming out of bullpen for my respective teams and pitch solid with them

What is a typical pitching rotation in a DD game?

What does that have to do with hitting? If anything that supports the fact that top DD players are better hitters because they have to face the "typical rotation" in a DD game.

That sort of just proves @eatyum right. If you can pitch well with 55ovr players in H2H then the competition must not be that good.

You not playing on HOF or legend enough. Stop choosing any difficulty. Play on higher difficulties then I'll respect your record more.

Would be like a DD player pitching guys ranked in the 50’s-70’s coming out of pen

As I’m playing yanks, doyers, astros with these guys. All overpowered hitters like DD

Not even close. And as I said before, some of the top 100 players have used BRONZE teams and still made WS, they aren't only using overpowered players. They can win over and over again with some of the worst players in DD

BRONZE cards against "some of the best rotations in the game", since you want to bring up how good pitching is in DD

I’ll set it off any difficulty and put it on legend. I doubt anyone will score on me as I hit the corners Basically every pitch

Regardless when it’s on any difficulty as I set it so I can find game quicker, it’s human vs human so I don’t see how that should make a difference

There are currently 97,135 players who have played a game of H2H this year. There are 348,086 players who have played a game of DD this year. That's about 3.6 times as many DDers than H2Hers. Even if talent was equally distributed between both modes (which I doubt is the case) there would be approximately 360 players in DD that are as good or better than the top 100 in H2H. IMO this is inaccurate though because DD is more popular and would attract the best talent due to it's marketability.

A couple years ago the #1 online rated player played like the 95th ranked DD player in online rated and got mercy ruled by the DD player.
Note: I don’t have any evidence to back up this claim but I remember hearing it on here

    Good debate going regardless

Like in my case u have to factor in when I’m using Miami with my highest ranked player 82 overall against the yanks or doyers and I blow them out u have to factor that in also

Are there DD guys with teams ranked in the 70’s beating teams ranked in 90’s?

I don’t know it well enough which is why I’m asking.

The higher ranked team gives the person a better chance to win obviously then the skill gap comes into play if the person with lesser team or in my case way lesser team is good enough to win

Yes there are, as I stated twice now

Some of the top 100 have used bronze teams and still make it to WS against goon squads.

I don’t remember what teams were used but the game was played in H2H with real teams. If you really want to test your skills jump into a legend custom league using real teams that have primarily DD players playing in the leagues. I’m sure it is out there somewhere

For instance I like watching “Yourfriendkyle” in his YouTube vids even tho I hate the fantasy and unrealistic factor of DD because I want to see how good he is

He is obviously a great hitter but so am I, and he seems to throw a lot of balls that people are too impatient to lay off when pitching. With my plate discipline I feel like I could beat him

Not to factor in each video he had “new Gold card 99 overall Jim Thome” or whoever. Each game he gets a new overall 99 player card I guess based off a fluke career year in that players career

Despite everything else that's been said in this thread, this just about proves that top DD players are better than top H2H players. There's about 1200 people in DD that can hit any pitch in the strike zone regardless of whether or not it's on the black.

Yeah, Jim Thome was terrible, he just had one fluke year.

Don’t doubt that as when I play the yanks or doyers a top player can hit any pitch for a homer. Against both teams they even hit balls out for homers.
