Lefty grove = No Thx

I don't play online much at all, but 9 innings with A's SP and 10 K's gets you 20 points. Super Easy. 1 game. Actually, it led me to play a few more game online, which I actually enjoyed very much, even won one of them in RS! Then you do the exchanges to get to 25, and now you don't have to do ANY of the 9 innings complete game moments. Honestly, it was the easiest program all year. I can't stand Lefty like most of us, but free stubs and a 92 Diamond....easy,

I mean the card looks solid for what it is but OMG the moments look horrible to do not to mention old time pitchers and there pitching animations make things go slower. SDS this is a HUGE L but they cannot all be good and to who made these moments -- u suck - LOL
Finished it tonight...wasn’t terrible difficult. Used A’s pitchers in 3 event games...played half a ranked season game because someone quit to get my starter the rest of the SP K’s I needed. Did the exchange, beat 3 moments the quicker ones, and beat the A’s on AllStar.
I like him. I find myself IBB the first batter of an inning and then he has a quicker easier windup. In moments at least, not in a game.

First moment against the Twins.
Game 1 strikeout the first 8 batters. Walk, stolen base and a double off the wall. Loss.
Game 2 one strikeout short. Loss.
Game 3 strikeout 6. 2 outs, 2 strikes in the 9th. Home run.I moved onto other things and will try again tonight.

You can avoid the 9 inning games: do all the other moments (even the 10k one isnt bad - you get that in 4 or 5 innings), do the pitcher swap (again, not bad - I did it with all FAs), and beat the As on all-star.
You then need to do one of the online missions, but the 10ks by a SP should come pretty organically, especially with a HOF event going on.

Pitching 9 innings twice isn’t worth it for only 20 stars in my opinion + all the other moments
I was done with the 9 inning moments in like 20 minutes a piece because that for me was easy to rack up strikeouts. First one I tallied like 19k’s and 1 hit. Second one I racked up like 15k’s and 4 hits of which 3 were erased on double plays. Fortunately neither game had an inning where I was ever in trouble and was worried I would give up a hit that would push me past the moment’s threshold for runs scored against. Also Didn’t have any of those situations where one batter would seem to foul off 10 pitches before getting on base via a walk or hit. We all know how demoralizing that is.

I IBB the first batter every inning with him just to get him to the stretch to get away from that crappy slow a$$ wind up. only have the last 2 left...the 9 inning one and the 10 K's. not looking forward to either.

Is winning 10 9 inning ranked games worth it for 20 stars? Or?

You don’t play ranked for program stars

9 IP with As online, 3 solid bronze As starters Event eligible. 10 Ks with SP online, Event is on HOF, these can be done inside of those 3 Event games. That is 20 pts. 5 for exchanges, 8 to beat As on AS. That is 33 points without doing 1 moment. There are only 2 9 inning moments and the 1 10k moment. You dont have to do then.

These player program cards have just been intended to provide an added award on top of the program stars they give you for completing. Never intended to be inserted into somebody's main lineup. Last year they just gave us program moments with no rewards besides the program stars, stop complaining. I like these program players!
True. Only one I've liked using is Mark Reynds. The ball flies off his bat.

After Kerry Wood, this was the easiest pitcher player program. No, I'm not going to use him, but I'll take the stars and the extra Veteran series player for whenever a Honus-type collection comes.
