I would like a mechanic in the game where if people pitch out of the zone all the time none of their pitches hit the strike zone rest of the game.
(Hence the reason people bunt dance is usually an indicator to the pitcher to "freakin pitch the ball" and stop trying to make everybody chase!)
Um...it's called "expanding the strike zone" and it's been a thing since baseball was invented.
In fact, the current trend in real baseball are less pitches in the strike zone which is resulting in more strikeouts.
I am very wall aware how baseball works i have a family member in the HOF i grew up around sports but ty for trying to explain to me, i truly do appreciate it!
Happy to help!
In all your experience, how many times have you seen bunt dancing in real baseball versus pitchers throwing out of the zone?
Oh and ask Nolan Ryan (and his 2,795 walks) about staying in the zone and "pitching to contact".

I would like a mechanic in the game, that if someone bunt dances too much, they get stuck in the bunt motion.

If you're a free swinger... which you are... people are going to pitch out of the zone all the time against you, at that point you're just beating yourself.
You are such an amazing person! We have never met in our live but yet you seem to know so much about me! hahaha What a troll. Nick Livingston said it best last year in the stream, "Only Trolls deal in absolutes!"
It's really easy to see that when your username is right there in front of everyone, you've walked 88 times in 787 games, that's the definition of free swinger.
Take some walks and people will pitch in the zone, that's just a fact.
"OR" before you pat yourself on the back thinking you know how i play perhaps ask yourself "is this guy a free swinger?" "OR" Does he care if he wins or loses but would rather just play a legit game?"
See you type but it just looks like a pile that would come out of the south end of a bull when i read it.
It is the responsibility of the batter not the pitcher to throw in the zone. If you swing at every pitch why would someone lay pitches in for you to tee off on? If that's what you want go play homerun derby on rookie. In an online game why should someone try to allow you the chance to win the game instead of taking advantage of your short comings?

No it doesn't need to be exact, just somewhat realistic.
Bunt dancing is not realistic, expanding the zone is.
You said you wanted a play a "legit" game. How is bunt dancing "legit"?

Depends on what you are referring to? if somebody constantly throws out of the zone with no attempt to get it in the zone do you think its fair for a person to throw that many pitches out of the zone on purpose without being penalized? Video game purposes only

They are penalized by walking batters, that's free runners on base. Their stamina and confidence also goes down.
Do you think it's fair that a batter can swing at everything and not be penalized?

I absolutely do not think they should be rewarded for swinging at a bad pitch all the time, but guess what to go back your point. Ever since baseball has been around there are those who have gotten hit from swinging at pitches they should have left alone. so how is that different?

It's not. That's why in this game, we all get hits off pitches out of the zone sometimes.
I'm just not seeing your logic here.
You appear to want pitchers to be penalized for consistently throwing out of the zone, but batters not to be penalized for consistently swinging at bad pitches, is that correct?

Yeah, I remember that one. There were like three others that same day about how pitching outside the zone is cheese and how he's better than upper level players, but can't prove it because Babe Ruth isn't a reward for making PR and how everyone except him has sunk millions of real people dollars into stubs in order to win and that it's unfair and blah blah blah. I can't tell if he's a troll or just a crotchety old man, tbh.

And if that is how you want to get a win then so be it. But see i buy the game to actually play a strategic baseball game and i have a better playing experience in DD vs CPU than i have all year in any h2h matchup.

There is already a penalty for guys that don’t pitch in the zone ever, if you walk someone 8 times in a row you get mercy ruled.
And if that is how you want to get a win then so be it. But see i buy the game to actually play a strategic baseball game and i have a better playing experience in DD vs CPU than i have all year in any h2h matchup.
Because you never take a pitch, if you weren’t a free swinger you’d have a much better experience and wouldn’t be 300 games under .500

See you are trying to validate your point with real pitchers in real life and sorry to burst you bubble but this game play will never be an exact simulation of the real game it is feasibly impossible.

It's not. That's why in this game, we all get hits off pitches out of the zone sometimes.
I'm just not seeing your logic here.
You appear to want pitchers to be penalized for consistently throwing out of the zone, but batters not to be penalized for consistently swinging at bad pitches, is that correct?
no not correct whatsoever!

No online game is going to be like playing the cpu on rookie, to expect that is ridiculous
