Yes, the rewards are pretty much meh
But, this Event will allow some needed HoF hitting practice against some of the best pitchers available. Will help for Ranked season.
Why can't we use Prestige versions of the cards tho?

Because prestige is a separate series. Just use the regular card it’s really not that big of a deal

This event plays how Ranked Games should play. Was hyped for it but it’s too difficult for a novice player like me. 3 inning games but they all have been going to 8 or 9 lol.
Nothing but pop ups and ground balls lol.

Also, not sure it was such a good decision to go from Moonshot Event into HOF level hitting (or lack thereof). I suspect many folks will give up on this event very quickly because of that .

Yeah I know. Just don’t understand why it’s a big issue. Prestige cards are a different category of card. It’s like complaining Awards cards aren’t allowed. Wait til there is an event that allows prestige cards or play in Ranked. Just like any other event and any other card type.

I guess some of us see it differently than you and obviously SDS. I see them as a slighlty better version of the original card be it Prime, TA, Awards, etc.

I guess some of us see it differently than you and obviously SDS. I see them as a slighlty better version of the original card be it Prime, TA, Awards, etc.
But obviously they aren’t if they are in a different category and a completely separate card. The stats don’t carry over. Literally nothing is the same except the card art, but even that is different for some of them.

It was an awful idea for an event to begin with. At least to me as someone who’a favorite part of Events is creating unique teams and using cards I may not normally use. Or having fun gimmicks you get to build a team around - under 25, all speed, etc etc
There were only a handful of cards available for this Event, so you’re either running into the same lineup/players every game or you don’t have the stubs/money to get those players and field a competitive team.
To me that’s the antithesis of fun and what these Events should signify...and that’s all before the fact that it’s on Hall of Fame. -
