Didn’t know it was only winners, plus I didn’t remember Louis Gonzalez ever being in one let alone winning it. Makes sense why I don’t remember it though, he was overshadowed by every name in the derby besides Boone and glaus. Plus he didn’t really do anything special, or memorable was just consistent

It’s WINNERS so obviously it’s Luis. Haha cargo getting a HRD card. LuGo would be insulted to be confused for CarGo.
Luis is 3x the player Cargo was in their primes.

Gonzo won it in what may have been the ultimate childhood fantasy season: hit 57 homers, hit the game winner in Game 7 of the World Series off Mo Rivera, won the HR Derby and, in doing so, won a house for a dude in a wheelchair. Now THAT’S a season!
