Putting cards in sets?

Sorry first year playing. If I put a card in a set can I use it in a future set also? Example: can I use a prospect card in the stage 1 set and the prospect set? I know I cant sell once in a set. Thanks in advance.

If you lock a card in, it can still be used for any other collection that it is available to be used in.

It depends where you are locking it in. If you do an exchange, the card is gone for good. For example, the exchanges in team affinity. If you are locking the card into a collection (like the live series collection) it stays in your inventory and becomes unsellable. But if that card is locked in, you can usually use it in several collections.
If you collect the card, it can’t be used in exchanges.
