Can anyone...I mean anyone explain this?

Struck out Juan Soto on dropped 3rd strike and he makes it to first surprisingly. No way...I check replay. He swings and is given a superhero animation running to first like the flash.
I break out the stop watch...he ran a 3.8 to first. Kenny lofton was known for a 3.9 to first. Major league average at the time I was playing was 4.2....how did he run faster than a player with 99 speed?
Or did the game just want my opponent to not ruin a perfect situation to score?

Just one of many stupid glitches probably this year

I’ve had this happen to me before but I’m dying laughing at the fact that you pulled out the stop watch
-
Do you also have a tape measure you use to keep track of your home runs?
-
“Get out the tape measure, that one is long gone!”
-
Ya sometimes I mean 40 speed beats out a ball behind the catcher 2 feet. Sometimes that same play throws out Ricky Henderson
-
Lag.............

Like my drill Sgt used to say" move with a purpose".
The sad part is on a similar play you can time Robles, Trea Turner or other 95+ spd guys at over 5sec to 1st.

Lol.....I had too! I always figured the game can boost stats and manipulate gameplay in order to produce a desired result. Sds...here's your sign.

No a pitch counter would be better for that but then again that's really not needed because I can look up my stats to keep track of how many homeruns I have hit.
I do have a tape measure but I only use it to measure the distance of my homeruns
