A Skill Wall in Ranked Seasons?

I have only been playing diamond dynasty a couple years and would consider myself a very average player. Last year I made CS a few times but never touched WS. This year quite the same, I hover around 700 winning most the games below and losing the games above.

I feel this is due to the fact that the increased hitting difficulty separates the great PCI players from the average ones. My hits basically only consist of solo homers once I get past wild card. Does anyone else notice this skill gap at hof and what can I do to get past this crutch?

Check out Mistergraavy on YouTube. Of all the tip videos I've watched hes got the most in depth helpful ones, not a ton of content but what is there is all really good.
