Maybe I should’ve waited till now to complete collections, completed it two months ago and guys I paid 30K for are sell now prices now lmao. Honestly with how many stubs the game has given away I can’t see how getting Mantle is difficult at this point. Has collections always been this easy?

Exactly and the fact they made these new TA sellable reminds me of a few years back with the 20ish k in stubs you got for recording offline stat missions. Those years it was almost automatic getting through collections without even flipping cards or opening a single pack

Exactly and the fact they made these new TA sellable reminds me of a few years back with the 20ish k in stubs you got for recording offline stat missions. Those years it was almost automatic getting through collections without even flipping cards or opening a single pack
I remember in the beginning of the year I had to grind showdowns and sell everything I got. Now I feel like you can finish collections without having to sell anything. Live series prices are so low it’s wild

I pulled Arenado last night from a TA pack, Was able to buy scherzer off the market with stubs that completed the NL for me. Now I only need Trout, Cole and Verlander, Which I should have by the end of July with all the packs that come with TA, the even, and 50 percent of packs.

I just hit Prestige 2 last night those two high diamonds will help once I reach those levels.

I've never pulled Trout, I've got him twice this year, I'll unlock Biggio tonight, I have buy orders in for the rest of NL guys, but Bellinger, which I will put in once I sell my extra Trout. I've never completed collection this early in the year before, it's usually sometime early Fall.....getting Trout twice helped quite a bit though.

This was actually my first time completing collections. I’ve played since 17 and have yet to get a Trout lol. I have gotten 3 Arenados though (after collections) so no complaints from me lol

Ah gotcha, what’s been your strategy for completing the collection? Are you grinding showdown? Selling everything?
I have always flipped cards to do the collections, I am always grinding something. The start of Jun we got super busy at work that is when I do the flipping so when I am home I can just play. Flipping cards and buying off the market to me has always been the best way to complete the collections. If I pull from packs that is just icy on the cake. I was hoping to have the collections done by the end of June.

I have been holding off on buying a lot of the 85-89 until I reach diamond 85. I didn’t want to waste stubs by having two no sell diamonds. At this point, it probably won’t make a difference. I just hit 70. Either way it will cost me at least 300k less to get mantle than a lot of people. I just had to wait until July.

I have no regrets for doing this! Mostly because it was a great feeling of completing something, and now I am freer with my stubs when there are a lot more good players to try out!

Anyone think these prices are going to rebound, or will they continue to hover here or maybe even drop lower?
Trout is selling for 220,000ish at the moment, but at the beginning of the week was 260,000ishWould you think he might rebound back to 240,000ish?

Luckily I pulled Scherzer and deGrom as well, although their prices had dropped a bit I think too. Those pulls helped me fill out my team with new FOTF cards at least, and rent Eric Davis.

Yeah I was thinking later that if I had pulled these three a few months earlier it really would have been a haul. Still can't complain though.
I'm glad to hear that about Davis, seems like many like him. I didn't get the chance to use him last year, so I want to give him a shot this year. OF will be Dawson, Davis and Walker, not too many balls should get down.

Go ahead and try him in the event. I’m trying to prestige him, those 3 extra attributes can make him one of the best in the game
