Are CAP players worth it at this point with the release of the TA 3 players on the market now?

CAP can switch hit. They will likely be faster than most TA players. If defense matters to you, CAP is a good choice. BUT... inning programs will leave the CAP less useful by an inning program drops a switch hitting SS/C IMO.
Like who? What 5 tool switch hitting Shortstop or Catcher is out there?

I think so. Even with "better" cards my 89 CAP 2B is the best hitter on my team. He has diamond fielding and is a switch hitter. Rating means nothing, use who you do good with and stick with them.

Adell, mize, Carlson all got top cards so I wouldn’t be surprised to see both get 99s. Adly’s only tool that would be missing is his speed, his current card only has like 50 something speed but that could get upgraded

I'm thinking a 99 Lux as well

CAP’s will always be worth it. When I look at my CAP, he’s like Mantle with better defense but less speed. Plus I get to choose which swing I want for him

with upgraded equipment those 89s easily become 99s compared to other cards. The face of the car just says 89 because it doesn't take into effect the equipment you add on but in game you can look at the stats and the attributes are easily a 99 rated card. If anything they would be rated higher than 99 if the rating scale went higher.

Jose Reyes would be sweet. Then I gotta move cap to 2nd.

Anybody who grinds for Mantle and does not use a cap give your head a shake.

I'll never replace my CAP at catcher.

I agree... 117 power from both sides and 99 arm strength and accuracy? Yah, I’ll take it.
