I was so sure I was picking 99 Rivera... then I got Larry Walker on my Showdown team. Man, he is good. Hits power to all fields. Now, I have a tough choice coming up.

Especially if it’s a game on veteran. Rookie, too easy.

A players swing means more than a players stats (Hello David Dahl), so he is absolutely correct in his thinking. But you already knew that, you just wanted to be a [censored] to a stranger on the internet (probably a kid to boot).

Yep, swing is everything in this game. That’s why for me Ernie Banks is the best hitter in the game right now, his swing is so easy for me.

You can't swing a bat a few times vs the CPU in showdown and determine that the swing is the best thing since sliced bread. You need a bigger sample size vs tougher competition. You're the one being a [censored] to a stranger on the internet

    Wow, never mind. 🙂
I mean I usually pick my 300 point player based on stats alone. And I think closer is still my bigger need. But Walker's sweet swing and power to all fields is something I really did not know about, until know. It's made me consider his as a choice.

I'm waiting to see what the TA's will be, and which ones I'm close to getting. That will certainly play a part in my final decision.
