If he got a SS he will not get a better card.
Watch them give the FOTF to Klesko.Unless they think a 98 is ok for Smoltz. No way Maddux gets a 98, he is a 99.

FoTF are basically made up so it doesn’t really matter what the overall is. all of these players will likely get another card the matches their career better

I wouldn't think so. For his caliber if they had multiple versions of him I think they'd have a rookie card, breakout and then signature series.
