Give me Manny, Yaz, Papi, or any good sox hitter this program and they make my team all year
I would love it if were a Manny Ramirez I just don't want to get my hopes crushed again. He's one of my top wishes for SDS to add.
Same here, Manny, Pedro, and Yaz are my top sox to add.
He's been a part of ending both the Red Sox and Cubs world series droughts. He was a coach for the Cubs when they won in 2016 and he was a favorite player to watch growing up as well.

Alot of people are thinking 99 cy young awards which would be Pedro and Randy Johnson. So could be that 99 Rookie of the year was Beltran
It only says A hidden new legend. Meaning only 1. Manny makes a lot of sense especially since Hanleys prestige program says H. Ramirez. The other 2 would have to be already in the game
People are also say it is Manny because he wore 99 where not his best years 2008 yes was a good year for him when he moved to boston. I used to like manny alot but he failed a drug test twice there is no reason he needs a 99 card. I think Johnsons windup is in the game as a generic.
They need to throw the whole game off the rails and put in Rickey Vaughn.
Umm correct me if I'm wrong and mabye i just missunderstood but didn't Manny Ramirez move to Boston in 2001? By the way his best seasons were 2004 ( 43 home runs, 130 RBI's, and a 308 BA)
and 99 (44 home runs, 165 RBI'S, and a 333 BA, 663 Slugging, 442 obp and he did that in 147 games) that's a unreal year.
Yes 99 was a great year for Manny but he was also wearing number 24. He Didn't wear 99 until he went to the Dodgers because the Dodgers had that number retired. I don't think Manny is very deserving of a 99 player card and I used to love how he played the game but after 2 failed drug test nope sorry.
Biggio, Sheffield, and others are in the game
I'm still sad about the Biggio story...I thought he was great without roids. I'm still not entirely sure he took them

O yes your absolutely right, sorry my bad. Ok then (signature series) Happy?
-
Roy Campanella, he passed away 2 days from now in 1993 and would be turning 99 this year if he was still alive.
-
It keeps getting worded as a “hidden” legend so i think it’s just a hidden mission like Eddie Matthews from 17
-
Any chance the bell emoji is a clue? George Bell? 1987 MVP.

I think you guys are missing your 1999 MVP Pudge Rodriguez
I think everyone leaves Pudge out of these discussions with the expectation that those 4 evolution programs will be extended(Pudge, Cargo, Eck, Mathews)
Exactly, Pudge will not be a 91, just like Matthews will not be just a 93 or cargo a 90, those programs will continue just like the Jackie Robinson moments.
So what do you think the final cards for them will be in the program? Or do you think they will just release a separate card? More stubs to be used for a bunch of 95+ cards.
I feel all 4 of them should get 99's by the end of the year at least. Mix in a few packs/stubs maybe a few bundles (ballin is a habit) I personally think they follow the same formula they used for the Robinson moments or maybe they combine them like they have done for the POTM moments.
Be honest you do you really think CarGo is a 99?
His best season? Yes I do, 2015 (40 home runs, 97 RBI'S, 270 BA, 540 slugging) That's close to mvp numbers in my opinion. He followed that up the next season with a 333 BA. He was a great player that was marred by injuries. Imagine what he could have done if he had stayed healthy. Yes if prospects this year deserve a 99 then so does Cargo.
I see those 4 EVO programs ending like this.
(Similar to last year)99 Matthews
99 Pudge
97 Eckersley
97 Cargo -
My predictions will be.
99 MVP Jimmy Rollins (want this bad)
99 Sig Roy Halladay
99 Prime Frank Thomas -

CP - Henry Rowengardner (99 Rookie)
SP - Nook LaLoosh (96 Future Star)
CF - Willie Mays Hayes (98 Signature)Easily taking Hayes out of this one personality alone. Plus that one season would give him a ton of power too
-
I struggle against Sale but a 99 would be good for the game. A dominant lefty would help offset everyone using kluber every game and give you more reasons to have rh batters that crush lefties in your lineup.....needs to happen!
-
I’m going with
99 Ovr Breaksticks (new legend)
99 Ovr Soup
99 Ovr Salad -

Disagree
Jim Thome (99 Silver Slugger)
Chris Sale (99 Signature Series)
Robin Yount (99 MVP)If this were to happen I would lose my mind trying to decide between Sale and Thome.
I mean, obviously I'd get both but it would be agonizing until I had both on my squad.

absolutely! The power alone would fit right in with this games "concept" of warning track power!!

I think it either has to do with 1999 or the number 99
If it's the number 99, It'll be Manny,
If it's 1999 - Cy Young winners that year were Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez.
Lance Berkman, Carlos Beltran, and Carlos Lee were rookies.
Larry Walker won a silver slugger and is a RF, which is the number 9 when writing on a scoresheet. So alotta possibilities there.
Larry Walker was obssessed with the number 3. If they didn't release him for the 3rd inning, i don't think he's coming.
-
I will gladly put Manny in LF
Let's hope the defense isn't too terrible
