Disagree
Jim Thome (99 Signature series)
Chris Sale (99 Cy Young)
Robin Yount (99 MVP)Gomes guessed Thome, a couple other content creators went with it, now it's stuck in everyone's head. The problem is, it doesn't fit the clues at all. Gomes made this guess before the clue's were revealed, and he's almost never right (no one is, it's a guess, not knocking him)
The new legend that fits the clue the best is Manny, and we know he was added to the coding this year, so it fits.
If it's Manny then that's my pick for the 5th inning boss and I don't even need to see the other choices.

CP - Henry Rowengardner (99 Rookie)
SP - Nook LaLoosh (96 Future Star)
CF - Willie Mays Hayes (98 Signature) -
Alot of people are thinking 99 cy young awards which would be Pedro and Randy Johnson. So could be that 99 Rookie of the year was Beltran

It only says A hidden new legend. Meaning only 1. Manny makes a lot of sense especially since Hanleys prestige program says H. Ramirez. The other 2 would have to be already in the game

I agree with you! Throw the others away, because they a trash compared to a 99 Manny.

People are also say it is Manny because he wore 99 where not his best years 2008 yes was a good year for him when he moved to boston. I used to like manny alot but he failed a drug test twice there is no reason he needs a 99 card. I think Johnsons windup is in the game as a generic.
They need to throw the whole game off the rails and put in Rickey Vaughn.

Umm correct me if I'm wrong and mabye i just missunderstood but didn't Manny Ramirez move to Boston in 2001? By the way his best seasons were 2004 ( 43 home runs, 130 RBI's, and a 308 BA)
and 99 (44 home runs, 165 RBI'S, and a 333 BA, 663 Slugging, 442 obp and he did that in 147 games) that's a unreal year.
-
I think it either has to do with 1999 or the number 99
If it's the number 99, It'll be Manny,
If it's 1999 - Cy Young winners that year were Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez.
Lance Berkman, Carlos Beltran, and Carlos Lee were rookies.
Larry Walker won a silver slugger and is a RF, which is the number 9 when writing on a scoresheet. So alotta possibilities there.

Yes 99 was a great year for Manny but he was also wearing number 24. He Didn't wear 99 until he went to the Dodgers because the Dodgers had that number retired. I don't think Manny is very deserving of a 99 player card and I used to love how he played the game but after 2 failed drug test nope sorry.

Chris Sale (99 Cy Young)
NO GOD PLEASE NO
HAHA at least it would replace Kluber right. It's just a guess and it's probably wrong.

What new “clues” are you talking about? All they’ve said is it’s a new legend and he’s 99ovr. Those aren’t really clues lol

Yeah it would replace Kluber and I'd never score a run again lol. My gameplan every game would be GET SALE OUT OF HERE
-
The Inning Bosses will not be anyone new.
The new legend will be revealed along with a Honus type collection to get him.

I never got to use him last year because he was far to rich for my blood but yes he was nasty. Hate to say it but with them releasing Chipper as a boss this year there is a chance we see Sale as a boss as well. You know he's going to be in the game somehow.

If it's Pedro or Manny I'm stoked.
As much as I love Jim Thome, big time L.

Clue says all 99s, does this mean the henchman pack will all be 99s also??

I doubt that but I would not be opposed to it.

Kimbrel is the one I’m most confident with (Kenley is also an option). Rolen would fit in well but Thome is a better possibility and I didn’t want to have the same predictions as everyone else. Papi would be exciting and a first basemen that is a pure hitter
