HEY SDS, FIX THIS SCAM!!!

This would be a giant pain in the [censored] but honestly this maybe happens once or twice to a normal person the whole year. The amount of space between a buy now big and sell now big is like 10k. so you would have to have some sort of really big issue if you are doing this like 20 times to actually lose the 150k you claim
-
Sorry it happened, but honestly, using the word "scam" is so silly. It's just a buzzword these days, almost no one uses it in the proper meaning anymore.
-
If I execute High Diamond buy/sell transactions, I do them online vice the console!

A prompt would honestly be irritating. I list so much on the market, that's just more time I'm investing into it. I've done it a couple times this year myself, but my losses were only a few hundred stubs.
lol exactly
i am late on this thread it looks wonderful already

Can we please add a prompt in the market when going into “sell” that asks
“are you sure you want to sell “X” at the sell now price?”
It’s BS that there are prompts in other places similar but not here. I have personally lost over 150/k + just this years release alone! Happened to me last years game too. It is irresponsible for there to be no safeguard for a thumb twitch, dropped controller, dog jumping on you or otherwise and you sell a card at the “sell now” price by accident when your intent was to post it in the “buy now” market. It’s inexcusable and another testament to the nefarious structure of the market in general.
I know the wise guys will make their comments to be more careful, however this has nothing to do with care. It is simply ridiculous that here there is no prompt whereas other less and or meaningless decision prompts in the game have the two extra prompts “are you sure?” and the pressing of “x” to proceed.
FIX IT, ITS A RACKET!
Anyone else been a victim of this?
I'm not sure you know what irresponsible means.

I think it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world if a prompt came up while trying to sell something far away from market value. like if you accidentally put that springer for 60k instead of 6k, or if you were about to put that trout up for 22k instead of 220k

It does give you a prompt if you try to put up Trout for 22k, it comes up saying "There is a better option available" and won't let you.

You can immediately cancel those orders in those situations though. OP is talking about (for example, not OP’s situation) accidentally hitting sell now on springer for 5k instead of listing him for 7k

Why should the rest of us be punished with this annoyance because you are trigger happy with the X button?

I personally am very careful with my stubs, it's enough that we have to deal with the Captcha's on the mobile site. I'm sorry but I'm opposed to this idea.Thank you for an appropriate opposing response.
I too am careful, it just seems like there are too many things that can/do happen without the carefulness factor.
My dog literally jumped on me and my controller fell to the floor. Had there been a prompt, I would not have lost so much stubs...
Hire an obedience trainer instead of making everyone go through one extra step. Problem solved!

But they dont let you post a player for below the sell now bid. So right now if you tried to put up a player you get an error. You either have to sell trout for 300k buy now or the 270k sell now. There is no way that a person could lose 150k in one season. The biggest difference in one card is only 30k

Mize and Gary Carter have a 100k difference between buy and sell now but thats only because they are BR rewards that came out yesterday lol

also not for.nothing, just posting your issue as a legitimate complaint instead of "HEY SDS FIX THIS SCAM" people might be more receptive to your idea.
Thank you for your pointer on how to react to a tragedy THAT LITERALLY JUST HAPPENED! Sorry if I wasn’t calm enough in my approach for you!
Tragedy is a strong word for losing some stubs (an in game virtual currency).

Maybe its happened to me once

It’s amazing the negativity here. Is there anyone with a moral compass anymore? I was posting a frustration that was my own opinion yet most of the replies are punks that pop off for no good reason and offer nothing to the subject except an attempt to humiliate someone. I see it all the time on here and it’s usually the same idiots.
The amount of fierce rhetoric on here I’m sure is suppressing good ideas people have because they just don’t feel like dealing with the onslaught of negativity cast upon them. -

In 2018 I bought Ernie Banks for 350k by accident. Almost made me quit the Show forever.

That’s a perfect example. That and the mistaken sale.

If you just want to rant, just say that no responses are required.

Last year I accidentally bought a second Chris Sale at about a million stubs when I was trying to sell him...whoops.
