Diamond 1 Choice Advice

I am looking at adding Posey or Minnie at reward Diamond choice (not wild about Larkin...plus I hammer with Didi).
I had thought that I would add Minnie at this spot, but now I am not sure. I tend to prefer more balance players. But, I can see where either could fit well for me. I currently line-up this way.
- Mantle - CF
- Sanberg - 2B
- Reggie - LF
- Sheffield - 3B
- Didi - SS
- Trout - RF
- Bellinge (97) - 1B
- Biggio - C
My thought is to add Minnie in LF and bump Reggie over to RF. But, I could do numerous things with Minnie.
Posey could fit right in at C, which would allow me to move Biggio to the OF. Cloud always go Posey at 1B and flip Bellinger to RF.Thoughts from those who have Minnie and Posey?

Posey is the choice. What you do with him is less important.

To add to this on the side for Posey...the Jackie 99 is extremely similar to Minnie (hope to have soon). So that makes me lean towards Posey as well.

Larkin would be the pure numbers choice, as he would improve my team by the numbers more than any other. But I hate to bump Didi or Correa for someone that I don't trust.

Minnie was underwhelming for me. Posey rakes even against righties. Honestly you already have biggio who is also great, then you have an outfield that is stacked. I wouldn’t start Minnie over any of those three. But I guess Posey would be that power option off the bench vs. lefties

I didn't use Larkin until I got to prestige 5 and picked Posey and used him for about 10 games with worse numbers than his regular 99, which weren't anything great either. He was a wall behind the plate, but he never hit any HR. He's been a perfect lineout machine for me. I benched him and moved my CAP to catcher where I've hit more HR with the gold version in 3 games than I hit with either version of Posey. Switched Larkin in at SS to see how it went and he's hitting over .300. No HR yet either, but he's hitting bullets into the gap which is what I like at SS. My preference is speed and defense at SS and he has both, plus a solid bat. Unless you're ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN you can hit well with Posey, he'd be my last choice if I could do it all over again.

Minnie is no good, Posey is the easy choice there.

Thanks Guys! I appreciate the info.

Once I started using power swing exclusively with Minnie, he started lighting it up. I've found power swinging with some players more effective than others, and he is one of them.

Minnie is trash.
