Another 2 ducks and another 2 minimal pulls

I just do the programs for cards and occasionally buy if prices become reasonable. Packs really aren’t worth it unless you have stubs to burn.

I agree packs suck. SDS is no better than a check cashing place that preys on a vunurable populace.
lol, that's a bit extreme. If everyone pulled high diamonds and the odds were in your favor, the entire market would have zero value. You wouldn't have a chance to make stubs, flip, etc. At that point, the entire infrastructure of the game would be null and void.
Yeah, not the best analogy. Good point on the market.

Packs are basically scratch-off lottery tickets. Odds are a little better than some gambling options but the house is still always going to win in the long run. Just like scratchers, I like to buy a few once in a while and I expect to lose but am happy when I win. Also like scratchers, I much prefer waiting to get free ones as gifts instead of buying them.
That is an excellent way of explaining it. It just further shows how twisted SDS can be. It’s not enough that kids spend hours & hours grinding to get 70k for packs but then SDS takes the stubs & gives nothing in return to 90% of the players. These packs should just be a choice pack of the top tier, No shenanigans.
And before Ramon & the defenders of the market come at me...I would simply rather see everyone with a team they are happy with & can have fun with than I would rather see an expensive community market. These aren’t retirement investment stocks, They’re cards in a video game whose value ends on a yearly cycle. You’re not going to be putting a 97 Chapman in your retirement portfolio in 20 years lol

Its going to be fun when SDS and EA get slammed by the FTC for their "packs." People should know they are going to get screwed, but SDS is so greedy they need to get regulated.
Finally someone who can see these shady bums and their bs odds for what they are. I can't WAIT till these crooks and cheats get exposed for what they are by the gaming powers that be. Packs are nothing but covert casino gambling games. Not near as bad as EA and NBA2k, but in the same family. I'm willing to bet most of the braggers on here are SDS plants, shills and trolls.
lol dude i hear you but everyone in this thread is on the same page and agreeing with each other

Nobody cares......This is a thread for grieving
Wasn't going to respond, but this is hilarious!
They should rename these packs 'DFB.'
'For' and 'Buying' for the last two. Think Richard for the first. -

I’d love to just sell one of the elite round cards but I’m only 3 players from mantle and have enough stubs for one pack. I’m trying to stay disciplined but it’s tough
Stay the Course, Mantle is worth it! After four months of my first year in MLB, rippin packs is overrated and next year I'll just go straight to market.

If they were choice packs, then the prices for the players would be the price of packs. So, why would anyone get the packs as they could buy them for the same price as the pack.
-
Well I mean you’re signing up for a pretty good chance of getting the worst round twice by buying these packs

I got Ernie banks and Mccutchen. Sold Ernie

I can afford to blow stubs because I can just buy more but I just feel for kids that grind & grind only to have that happen to them. It’s not something they should have to deal with yet. The world will have its way with them soon enough.
I literally blew that 70k after selling my ellsbury and LS Chapman. Once I saw the possible 170k on return I was like hell I need more stubs and I don’t just go out and buy them. My whole team literally is a bunch of NO sell grinders. I hate all the good cards always require extreme grinding or boat load of stubs. I can’t even afford to buy all the LS and I’ve pretty much have high diamonds left. At this point In game I play division and championship and WS plays and without great cards I just can’t get over that hump. I’m competitive but the edges come out over 9 innings with the poor SP Pool and also The SP as RP bull. Literally played a guy WS smoked his SP , he bought in two 97+ SPs right after. I couldn’t keep him from scoring with current roster of low 90s upper 80s pitchers.
