I believe the vision attribute is either based on SO rate or swing and miss %. If that’s true, shouldn’t each player have a R/L split for vision too? I know that’s just adding more pieces to the already incomprehensible puzzle of how this game works, but if they bother to break down contact and power by R/L then I wonder why they wouldn’t do the same for vision.

And while we’re on the subject of Vision, if the dude can make himself look like anything he wants, why does he choose to look like a balding middle-aged lanky albino? I mean, somehow that look bagged him the hot Olsen sister so I guess maybe that’s her thing. But still.

I wonder if vision and BB/9 attributes have something to do with pitches being hung when you are trying to put one in the dirt.

I dont think the bb/9 stat would have anything to do with the pitches going right down the middle. If anything, it should force the pitch out of the zone to cause walks. If I remember right, each pitcher has a control rating. I would think that has more to do with the pitches not going where you want but with this game, who knows?
