To be fair, that card was lights out in the beta and is exponentially better than both SS Miller and SS Edmonds.
That’s why the moments are hard lol
Yeah, that's what I was saying

Considering 20 drops in less than 2 months, they really should let you carry Goose over to 20 if you get him. It's an unsellable card and would be harmless to do so.
Let those who put the hard work in for this get rewarded into the next season.
Harmless? That couldn't be further from the truth. There are no elite cards in the beginning, but yet you want to turn an elite reliever loose on them.
If you or anyone else don't want to put in the "so-called" hardwork for a card that's only good for a couple of months, then don't do it.
Come 20 the slates wiped clean, as it should be.

So the green moment, 3 homeruns in 3 at bats then line outs . The pitchers moment robbed by a sliding catch in left field that would have scored two to win it. Yelich line outs every at bat. Babe two homeruns then line outs.

I got the Yelich cycle and almost got the tying runner on vs. the Mets (2 good-good/squared up robberies in there, too,).
The 4 extra base hits moment (Finley?) is hilarious, as is the 3 homer moment, unless it's in the Polo Grounds.
The comeback is actually a bit easier than the last one, because Kenley was a 99 diamond, and the Mets relievers don't crack 82 (I think.). Also, the Cats can hit, and they give you Kendrick and Taylor on the bench to immediately PH for the 9th hole.
It’s Shawn Green not Finley and it’s not too bad you just have to get some pitches to hit they throw way out of the zone so much. & 3 Homers with Babe will actually be one of the easiest, I’ve done that multiple times in RS on HoF against real people so it can be done against a cpu. The last one seems like the one that will be a big pain because there’s so many rules and to score 8 on legend seems frustrating.
You're 100% accurate on the Babe: gave it a few tries and almost did it, every time.

I literally almost jumped out of my window and ran into oncoming traffic when I did the contact vs HR. Played 9 innings was up by 2 and needed one HR to finish then went 3 up 3 down in top of the 9th.

I almost did the comeback moment, and then Seawald started getting balls called as strikes lol.

Yea honestly I put my batting on directional with babe and power swung, went 3-3 with 3 bombs on my second try. -

You’re right. Having a 99 SS reliever with those stats day one would be harmless. /s

These are rough. Just getting a strike to hit is a challenge. I've had to restart several of the Ruth/Yelich moments because I would get walked.
-
Not for me. Missions are just too hard for an OK reward that you'll get to play for 2 month.

I accepted the fact that I'm okay with the other goose lol

With 41 Stamina and his per 9s and pitches, arguably the best Relief pitcher.

Took one look at them and moved on...That $hit ain't happening.

Yes he's the best RP but not worth all that grind and stressful moments, too late for this. MLBTS 20 launch in less than 2 months.

This is impossible for normal human being. The easiest one is 10 times harder than kenley moment or final match in previous moments set. I guess I have to buy 95 Gossage again.
You gotta approach it with a different mindset, one that says "oh okay, these are tough but not at all impossible and I'm gonna slowly but surely complete them".
You'll find that they aren't impossible at all. If you need tips on particular moments, let me know and I'll try and help you best as I can.

It’s nice to see that people willing to help are on this forum too. I have to say that I overreacted. I tried those moments and I am 4/7 missing only Green and Yelich moments (I was so close many times, I just need little bit of luck) and then the last game of course. I will have to practice a lot to get it done. I am quite good at pitching but those 5 homeruns are problem. The most I had was 2. It’s the first time I played on legend and to be honest I don’t think I would be able to hit 5 bombs even on hall of fame difficulty. Well well.. for the first time I will go to practice mode this year

Here's a tip for hitting on legend: take as many pitches as you can and wait for the pitch over the heart of the plate. It will come so be patient and make them throw lots of pitches to get that energy and confidence down asap. Good luck!

Well I tried Green and Yelich moments yesterday and finished them both in about 30 minutes. Today I tried the last game for a second time and won 10:0, 15 hits, 4 HRs. I was somehow happy with this result because I finally feel like I have a chance. I am quite surprised that I wasn’t mad.
Thanks for your advice for my hitting but that’s exactly my biggest issue all year. I can’t hit pitches down the middle. I start with my PCI up and every time I overreact pushing my PCI down to the dirt and poping up. I think I have to change my thumb placement on the left stick.
Anyway I will try it once per day and I believe I will complete it in the next few months. I will not buy mlb 20, time is not a problem for me
This thread is like a therapy for me -

This thread is like a therapy for meYou'll get it eventually man. I used to start the PCI up and in as well and I would react on everything from there. But in recent years I got more success just keeping it dead center and adjust from there. It actually sped up my bat speed and it prevented me from over adjusting silimar to what you say you do. Give it a try man.
