Yawn!!! Pretty much on all the cards coming out today. All boring dudes regardless how good their stats are. When will SDS bring some heat to the players list. Same dudes year in and year out. So boring get creative.
They’re all pretty amazing cards. I’m especially excited for Ernie and Aroldis. Besides, they’ve already gotten “creative” this year by putting out a bunch of minor leaguers, but not many people took to that.
In my eyes, this is a great content drop, probably the best one of the year.

I need that Chapman, the LS one has my highest K/9 of any pitcher with 14.7, hasn't left my bullpen.

I have $260k stubs. I'm going to buy this card. Is it best to buy as close to 3pm EST or a bit after release
He will keep getting cheaper, it depends on how soon you want him
I'm not 100% sure about this. Wagner was the elite LH reliever last year, and his price just continued to rise as other bosses' prices fell. Chapman being in this pack will help because they will keep releasing it throughout the year though.
Its going to be the same deal as Kenley Jansen. Wagner is a poor comparison due to how they are acquired.
If we had to guess a price range he settles at for the next few weeks what would it be? 100-150k?
He will be 100-120 out of the gate as will all of the elite tier guys. Eventually the will give ducks packs out like candy in inning programs and what not, so in 3-4 months he will be like 50-60k. Anyone that compares this card to any cards this year(like dibble) is wrong. This is a direct comparison to 99 Kenley last year and will follow the exact same trends
Hope you're right on that, tough to see Chappy going under 100k anytime soon imo.

Can't wait to throw it down the middle with this card

Prices will inevitably drop as more people get it and other cards come out -- I bought Greinke at like 80k from the last Ducks (well worth it, 1.89 ERA in 61 innings) and he's already down to 40k today.

Probably gonna be a good looking card but the thing about Chapman is he is always easy to hit in game. His delivery is very easy to pick up.
That's weird you say that... His cards were lights out for me last year. His silver card in BR was just nasty... I have always had good results with Chapman.

His price will have nothing to do with how good the card is, because obviously the card looks awesome. All three of banks, Chapman, and Adell will be around the same price because that’s how choice packs work. Their overall price depends on how often they re-release the pack or how often they give it out for free. Seeing that we will likely get several of the Ducks packs for free throughout the year, his price will eventually be down to around 50k

Yeah I know what you're saying, and you're right, but I'm not trying to wait until late September to get the dude. Over the next few weeks, do you really expect him to be under 100k at any point?

Who would you like to see?
Let me think. Vince Coleman, Willie McGee, Tim Raines, Mark Grace, Randy Johnson, Dwight Golden, Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Ron Santo, Kevin Mitchell, John Kruk, Darren Daulton, Jack Clark, Kirk Gibson, Brett Butler, Glenallen Hill, Pete Rose, Jeff Kent there tons of other guys.

Not unless there is a free pack early in the 5th inning program, no

Looks like we have a new best reliever in the game. Only disappointing part is I was hoping for a starter.
Not sure if i should take a chance on the pack or just buy the guy

You have 9/10 chance of just making him 35k more expensive
-
I’ll buy the card off the market. I’ve had the worst pack luck this year. I grind and flip cards til I have the stubs to buy who I want. I almost bought jo adell last week, glad I didn’t.
-
I'm an avg player - maybe cuz i'm in the 600s right now, but
I can't pitch with Chap... had him pitch 2 different games, and ppl were lining him up ... sold him back.. picked up dibble.. and kept the stubs. -
I took banks and sold him for 190k sitting st the most stubs I’ve had all year might go for collections now
-
The only way I hit Chapman is to sit fastball up nothing down because his sinkers tilt is serious and so is that slider but adding the change up makes this freaking tough. His control is bad tho so ain’t much painting the edges. Easy way to beat this guy is let it come to you and he will definitely walk someone
