Headliners are boring this year

All the cards have been bad. Maybe kemp and Pablo cards are cool. Rest boring and redundant. Mccutchen, Boggs we see every single year. Same cards over and over. Player month cards same as last year. I get it that it’s because of no season so kill the player of the monthly concept and get creative with some new cards. SDS pretty boring and redundant content this year in my opinion.

Is it just me, or have almost all the headliners been super boring this year? I remember being excited by probably 80% of them last year. But this year?? Jake McGee? Michael Brantley? Matt Wieters? Pablo Sandoval? A bunch of FS lamewads? Uninteresting low-90s dorkwads? I’m just sick of all these wads. On the rare occasion I buy HL packs, I’m actually hoping for LS diamonds and not the headliners.

Yes. Unless it was a Phillie I was uninspired. Didn’t buy packs but did buy Hamels, JRoll and Spencer Howard off the market. Might eventually break down and get Dibble, just not sure if it matters for someone who lives in All Star hell like I do.

DotP: Kingman, Perez, Rodney, Murphy, Hernandez, Boggs, Greinke, McCutchen.
I’m literally looking at the contents right now. Wieters is not there.

Wieters was totally a HL pack reward, because I wasted stubs on 5 packs trying to get him. Didn't have enough to buy him outright, so had to resort to luck. Most HL this year I've just bought off the market if I wanted them, so that stands out.
I did buy Brantley for under 40k, I've always like his swing. I've only used him in the event, which isn't a good gauge, but he seems to have pretty good gap power. Not bad in the field either. Who knows how he will play in RS.
