90s-2000's Players
-
I thought they said before the season that they were focusing on legends/past players of the 90's-2000's..... so why has it switched to an over emphasis on prospect/future stars with multiple cards?
-
If I had to guess they're saving them for the All-Star break. Which isn't happening, so middle of July.
-
There are still 60 diamonds to come out in the TA path alone. Let alone the remaining headliners and rewards and bosses. That's over 100 more 99+ diamonds coming.
-
TA set 3, we should see a whole bunch
Plus my guess is we see Thome as a boss in inning 5.

thats what im hoping for, my guess before the season was that stage 3 summer would be a all-star card for each team, so hopefully we see some new legends or at least flashbacks of current players that dont already have 2 other diamond cards

MLB 19 had a LOT of older legends (Cobb, Honus, Cy, Willie, etc)
The point they were making is that most of the new legends this year were going to be from the more recent era (Helton, Foulke, Smoltz, Ortiz, Maddux, Glavine, Olerud, Sheffield, etc)

There are so many 90’s players missing. They should do a 90’s player for each team.
-
They meant they are focusing on guys who will be legends in the 2090s.

Or they will most likely never be legends

So the cards everyone wants will be released when most players won't be playing has much or at all. But it's ok since we have 2 diamond Nick Madrigal to chose from instead.

2 Alec Bohm's, 2 Gavin Lux, 2 Sixto Sanchez and now 2 Jo Adells. We get it SDS you like rookie cards. I mean come on give us some great 90s players already. I'm tired of all the rookie cards.

Arent there 3 versions of those players, including the live series cards?

Well yes I was only counting the Diamonds. All told though yup there's 3 versions of all of those now.

Minor nitpick, but Madrigal doesn’t have an LS card because he was never added to the 40-man roster. The general consensus was that they were going to give him the Kris Bryant special by manipulating service time and not bringing him up until May.

This is true, a very good point. Ok so he has 2 might be the same for Bohm not sure if he has a LS card. My mistake.

Its what ppl wanted, more variety. Do I love getting a better versions of prospect cards that was out at launch, no but Dane Dunning having a better rated card then Nate Pearson is even worse then not getting a better version of Nate Pearson.
