The same way someone prestiged Felix in one game.

Well that guy cheated and should get banned. I can understand if you prestige Belli because of the event though.

Yeah, MLB the Show 20: the Return of the Boosters.

SDS clearly did not learn from 17.

How? It just takes 2 guys with the same goal & about 5 hours to kill. That’s it.

Isnt there something in place where you cant match up too many times?

Someone froze the score I’m pretty sure. They probably did that and made it impossible for the other guy to do anything. Which leads to Felix getting unlimited stuff for prestige

Lots of misinformation here. The guy didn't freeze anything. He played a RS game with a friend and struck him out every time up. 1-0 win in 130 innings or something.

Yeah, MLB the Show 20: the Return of the Boosters.

SDS clearly did not learn from 17.

That’s not entirely true. This type of boosting was a problem in 17, and while I didn’t play 18, I’ve heard that people spent a ton of time grinding offline for immortals instead. Well, clearly that was no good either so SDS took the stat grind away completely in 19, but people complained about that too.

If they continue the cycle, next year may see a return of ridiculous grinds most easily accomplished offline for the best cards.

I personally prefer some offline grind. I'm pretty average online. That way it allows me to enjoy the game more by being able to get some of the best cards without some of the lame [censored] that happens in online play.

Ok, they obviously forgot what they learned from 17. This type of stat grinding is a very bad idea.

The issue with online stat grinding, isnt difficulty, it's either needing to team up to boost, which is against the integrity of the game, or worse dealing with the toxic players acting like babies deliberately trying to block you from achieving your stats, by walking, beaning, or dashboarding. Fact is online stat grinding was a dumb idea in 17 and bringing it back made no sense whatsoever.

Its only an upgrade to a 98. a plus 3 would make him 100 rated

Prestige is always +3 to all individual attributes. Just so happens for him it only results in +1 to his overall.

Gotcha. A plus 3 to all stats would surely boost a player way more than plus one to the overall as well
