Is anyone else having a problem with the stats getting wiped out mid-game?

Often when I am playing a game in franchise mode, or playing a "Postseason" mode, during the game the stats will just get wiped out. A player will be making his fourth plate appearance and Matty V says "he's coming up for the first time today". All player's stats get wiped out. Box score has all zeros and the game is in the eighth inning!
I had this problem on a used PS4 I bought in March 2020 and just exchanged it for a new PS4 and new disc and am still having the same problem! I played one game with some Hall of Famers (amazing game overall by the way) and the stats all got wiped away in the eighth inning. This breaks my heart and I need to know what to do to fix it. Or get my money back for my PS4 but that's a whole other story. Help!
