He’s never started in ranked for me, but I think I used his collection card in an event. I remember him putting up ridiculous numbers and I’ve heard similar reports from others. I probably only used the SS version a few times in conquest while trying out new cards.
Skepple is right. There are so many better options out there that he is easily overlooked, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t good. Not everyone can field a team with Foxx, Pujols, Gehrig, or some of the other top options and Gonzalez is easy to earn.

I've faced him only a handful of times. last time he hit 2 or 3 no doubters. made me want to try him out unfortunately I didnt fare the same. my opponent also had top 50 badges so that'll always help.......... plus I'm terrible at pitching

I hit much better with his All Star card than his Sig card for whatever reason, Online and vs. CPU...
