My hopes: Schoop, Grandal, Diaz, Santana, Paxton
Realistic guess: Schoop, Nola, Diaz, Laureano, CarpenterSince Schoop already has a flashback gold I don't think he'll get another card. Also, Nola has the 88 FOF card so no reason to give him another diamond.
My guess: Santana - Diaz - Grandal - Paxton - Carpenter
Paxton would be nice because he doesn't have a mariners card right now. If they do Carpenter there's no need for another flashback for him (getting a SS last year was ridiculous). The first two are total wild cards though... they could be any hitter and relief pitcher on the list with a mediocre live series card.
They won’t put two lighting cards in there though. So one of Carp/Paxton is out 100%
True. But by that time, the final cards have to be really good to make anyones lineup (or rotation in this case) so I think they can afford to have 2 ~ 95 OVR diamonds in the program. Otherwise i'd swap in Clevinger (91 ovr) for Paxton

I bet we see a 2019 Jack Flaherty in the coming months. Could be July, could be August.

He has an august card and I could definitely see him being the stage 4 reward just before the lightning for august if SDS keeps the same pattern going for the monthly awards.

If those are the choices, then I feel like paxton is a lock for the lightning card. I don't see them going with another astros player so soon after correa, and as a 91 the carpenter card isn't good enough to get anyone excited about working on the program at this point in the game cycle.
-
I hope we have actual baseball back before too long. I’d like to get a few lightning cards for this current year too.
-
My guesses are Schoop (only 2017 fit), Diaz (good reliever option), d’Arnaud (they need to add a catcher), Danny Santana (utility guy they don't have yet), and James Paxton (maybe one of the only pitcher lightning cards all year)

I agree and I also think we'll see Paxton but I wouldn't rule out carpenter as SDS will buff the card into a high 90s if he is the lightning card

Kahnle please. Wouldn’t mind a Diamond Corey Dickerson either.

You have to throw logic out the window man. Lol. Correa had a FOTF Card and was still the lightning card as a SS right after another SS was lightning. There were about a million posts saying “it won’t be this guy because he has this” and we still get those guys. Lol

True. I didn't think we would get another Bellinger also. Although 92 Nola would be even closer so his FOTF card then Correa.

Pham (Wouldn't put it past SDS). d'Arnaud, Diaz, Loreano, Yuli. I would love for a Grandal card but don't see it happening. Also SDS could sneak in the 88 Chris Taylor card from 17 somewhere.
