Honus moments

First off, this doesn’t seem like a bad card. Way better than Vizquel. But I love playing in Polo where your 430 ft fly balls are ran down for outs. Or where 60 rating outfielders are making willie mays diving catches. And don’t even get me started on the rng moment hitting. Wait 8 pitches every at bat for a hittable pitch, then your good good is a line drive right at someone.

I had the opposite experience with these ones. I got soooooooo many cheap homeruns right at the right field foul pole.
This was the first set of moments I was able to get through on the first few attempts of each one.
I did have a couple diving catches to rob some hits and line drives right at someone, which was frustrating. -
Paxton wouldn’t throw anything in the strike zone, so that one was a headache. And it took me probably 8-10 tries just to get the 4 TBs. Then I scrolled down only to see there’s a moment where I need 6 TB. Ugh.

I'm struggling with the stolen base one.

10 attempts on the 2xbh mission where I couldn't hit at all,with a few singles,. then all of a sudden a LCF BP shot for a 3B, then 2nd AB a RCF BP shot for a ITP GSHR. I did terrible repeatedly until i smoked the mission up the multi game one which I had 2/3 xbh in G1 and finished in 5th inn of game 3 of 7.
Good news is he absolutely rakes outside of the moments. -
The single hits part are easy to get if you drag bunt torwards the second baseman and beat it out with his speed. The extra base hits are kinda frustrating with how God like the CPU fielders are.

Right? It's like they can cover the entire Polo Grounds field. It's a homer down the line or bust.

I used directional pull to left to get the XBH's. I actually had a few inside-the-park homeruns to left-center. But it still was not consistent and did take me quite a few tries.
Singles are easy, as mentioned above: just bunt (don't square to bunt; just swing with the triangle key at good pitches). -

Good news is he absolutely rakes outside of the moments.I haven't played him online, but he is an incredible lead-off hitter in Conquest. Bunt to first, steal second, lather, rinse, repeat.

I just hit home runs to the shallow parts of Polo for my extra base hits, I also got lucky with a inside the park homerun. Agreed though they seem to get to almost everything.

Seems like another Keith Hernandez time sink. I've been stuck on 2 hits for an hour. This shouldn't be hard, but the pitchers do not throw strikes, and everything gets chased down.

That one took longer than it should have because not only was there always someone in front of you clogging the bases, when there wasn't the batter was always flying out which means you needed to retreat back. SDS needs to think these scenarios out more

I hit gap inside the park homeruns, polo made his program 1 of the easiest programs of the year. Keith Hernandez 🤮

I found that power swing resulted in more line drive outs. So, I went back to normal swings and completed them in a couple tries. The 6 TB one, I had a 2B, and 3B, and he hit one into the second deck (almost) into the left center corner. It was nuts.
