Don’t be to down on yourself. I’m currently in a slump that started a month into 2019. It’s time to stop calling it a slump, but I need to keep some of my pride don’t I?

Not getting too down. But it’s rough putting the pic on the ball and getting zero results. Good/good or squared up should be better than good/okay or late/okay. But the latter is what is hitting bombs off me, yet I can’t scratch. Just find it baffling.

Yea I hit a slump yesterday and haven’t picked it up today. Kinda weird. I was extremely late on pitches I’m usually all over.

Exact same boat. Got to 880 yesterday and not sure if I got tired or what but my hitting just disappeared and it culminated in me being no hit after dropping to the high 700s. I have never been no hit online before and I couldn't even touch the ball in my last game. Frustrating because I wasted an 8 inning 1 run performance with Hamels. Nothing to do at that point other than turn the game off and walk away and write off WS this season.

Some days I will either hit great or pitch great. Yesterday I won 4-0, lost 3-2, and won 3-1. Low scoring with my great pitching. And Didi went yard 4 times in those 3 games. The dude is a beast after starting off slow with him

What I want are games that are ending 11-10. Let us both have a hitting feast. Even if I lost that game I would be happy that I was hitting the ball and not swinging too far over or under the ball. Plus what fun is a game that has a total of 5 hits in it after 9 innings, and the biggest hit is a single up the middle that drove in a run from two walks and it ends 1-0?

Conspiracy Theory: The system arbitrarily fluctuates a person’s timing windows making it nearly impossible to make solid contact. It also makes it nearly impossible to hit spots while pitching. That person gets so frustrated after games that they say, “Screw it.” Then they go buy a punch of packs and stubs out of frustration.
    Now I don’t actually believe this...Well, maybe I believe it a little.

It’s my first year playing a lot of RS though I’ve only reached wild card so far. My last 10 games have been a struggle. Win or lose only one of those felt like the game played fair for both players. Maybe I’m crazy but sometimes it feels like one player has an advantage over the other.

That's exactly how I feel. I just played a guy who used Roy Oswalt and I swear, I had his pattern down but I just couldn't capitalize on anything. I knew the location but just couldn't actually time it up. I wanted to throw something.

I feel like they changed hitting. I was scoring 3-6 runs per game and now it’s 2-1 and 1-0 games. Snoozefests.

I can't figure out good/popped or good/ok latley. Otherwise latley i'm either way ahead or way behind theres no reall in between for me. I kind of agree it feels like hitting was changed.

I have been staying around 600 - 720 this past week currently at 680 - but all my games even at shippett have been 3-2 2-1 hell I had an extra inning game that went 16 innings at 0-0 both of us have the mantle teams as well we took a friendly quit - very next game 13 innings 1-0 final I won - I’m not a great hitter, but I was getting 5/6 runs a game last week, all of a sudden I can’t hit my way out of a paper bag

The honesty answer was the May 12th hitting update. It really messed up hitting beyond repair in my opinion. I finally made WS on Saturday, my opponents were less than amazing. Hitting has been horrible since that last update.
