Ejections

I would like to touch base on ejections. So basically you can only get ejected as a pitcher, if throwing behind them or hitting them too much. There should be an option when you are hitting if you can argue with the ump about a pitch call. Then you would have the option to stop arguing or continue arguing. If you keep arguing the ump would eject you. This would help The Show feel more realistic!

Why would anyone argue with a cartoon umpire

Pray they never make a cartoon Angel Hernandez.

I feel like this used to be an option either in PS2 versions of The Show, ESPN Baseball for PS2, or EA's College Baseball for PS2. I liked it. Sometimes you would win. Sometimes you would press on and win, sometimes the ump would eject the manager...which had a RNG effect on team morale/performance. Either way, it allowed for some level of immersion albeit to the detriment of user input.

This is such a great suggestion - particularly for offline Franchise. Anything that adds to realism and immersion. Being able to argue and control how upset you are going to be based on button controls would be awesome. Having the manager / player ejected and it’s effect on morale or team attributes (positive and negative) is just so great.

this use to be a feature in MVP 2005. If you argued as a manager with the ump you'd get thrown out. all it did was make managing the game option not available (basically you'd choose situations like swing away or work around a hitter or bunt and the game would sim for you based on your selections).
