Movie is a great guy, extremely friendly and extremely helpful towards newer players.

It's not really an impressive card statwise, but I always swung well with Salvy's silver. If he's sub 20k, I'll probably pick him to use occasionally

Ya, Salvy is one of these cards who always surprise with a bomb. I've been burned a few times against his flashback cards

The base round guys are going to be relatively cheap, I imagine. Wonder what the rare cards will be and how much. 35k is a lot for a card like this Salvy (and I personally don’t mind Salvy. I like him and generally hit pretty well with his cards).
This just kind of reeks like another push for our money though. 35k is quite a bit for a pack with the likelihood you’re going to get base round that will be under 20k at least. Don’t have a problem with the cards so far or that they are adding another way to get cards. But this seems kind of expensive and another push for us to spend.

99 Kenley was like 20k last year. I'm glad not everything is a 99 so far this year

True, I hear ya there. I didn’t mind the SS packs last year. Maybe it just feels different this year to me because of COVID and the economic issues.
I wasn’t turned off at the thought of SS packs last year. Plus everything was SS last year, so it felt like a continuing theme. Maybe that’s a difference too. Calling something new (like ducks on a pond) seems like it’s just made up to get you to spend stubs. Just feels different to me, for some reason.

Kenley was like 150k, so was feller. Until they brought the packs back and he would dip below 100. They would have them and then be gone for a month. And only have them as rewards. I expect these packs to make their way into event and rS rewards, as well as colllection rewards

Might have been very late, like January, but he was going for dirt cheap at one point. 20-30k

Seems its 2 rounds for 35K, one is a base round with 5 choices then 2nd round is base or 1:4 chance at rare round....

Where do you see that it's two rounds? I'd assume it's only one, base or a 1:4 chance at rare.
