Anyone play offline franchise with Legend difficulty? The opponents smack at least 5 homeruns a game vs me and my pitchers batting average against easily has to be above .350.
HOF isn’t too bad but Legend they legit know what’s coming.

Any personal experiences and thoughts between HOF and Legend?

Offline franchise player on Legend here. CPU batters will destroy anything left over the middle of the plate, but just mix your pitches effectively and stay on the corners. They will chase. I'm at the point where it's nearly impossible for the CPU to beat me, even though I'm nothing special in online play.

Have you tried HOF and tweaking sliders?

I play Hall of Fame with the sliders for CPU up 1 or two notches/ Seems to provide the best balance.

So this is the forum section with actual men.......good...too many online casuals talking over in General Discussions and complaining about stubs and hot pockets or whatever. So yes, I play on Legend but you gatta get a proper slider set.....go on Operations Sports Slider section and look at some of the Legend sets......I've used Mike Lowe's with a few adjustments and it works great.

I play All Star pitching and I move the cpu sliders up one notch. I also have hitting set to Veteran with sliders up one notch. Gives pretty good balance. I lose as much as I win

I made the move from HOF to legend in my franchise about 20 games ago. Pitching is pretty realistic on Legend. You have to mix pitches and avoid the middle of the plate at all costs. Good hitters are so hard to get out with anything less than an elite pitcher. I've noticed the confidence meter comes into play way more. CPU will destroy the bullpen if they start slow. It took me 5-10 games to adjust but it's very worth it. I play with the Braves and I'm winning about 55% of games since the switch so pretty realistic.
