Show Nation, I need your help...

I am quickly approaching Gold Level 1 and I'm having a hard time deciding who I want to get. I've tried to replicate their attributes and take them into Custom Practice, but every attribute is capped at 99 for any mode outside of Diamond Dynasty, so that kind of messes with the results. In Custom Practice, I swung really well with Barry Larkin and pretty well with Buster Posey -- although his swing is the kind I usually get better with time.
I'm about to finish off a Marlins M2O, so I will have the FS Jazz Chisholm but I'm not too crazy about using Future Stars cards in my lineup full-time except with starting pitchers.
Anyway, here is what my team looks like and a few key options I have behind them:
LINEUP
- C | Mike Piazza (R) 92 OVR
- 1B | Jason Giambi (L) 92 OVR
- 2B | Craig Biggio (R) 99 OVR
- SS | Chipper Jones (S) 94 OVR / Hanley Ramirez (R) 92 OVR
- 3B | Gary Sheffield (R) 99 OVR / Nolan Arenado (R) 91 OVR
- LF | Matt Kemp (R) 97 OVR / Reggie Jackson (L) 99 OVR
- CF | Mickey Mantle (S) 99 OVR
- RF | Mike Trout (R) 95 OVR / Tony Gwynn (L) 93 OVR

Posey is legit

Posey looks like your best bet.
I assume you're trying to 'Prime' Chipper, so getting Larkin would probably only give you a pinch runner; unless you want to bench Chipper.
Posey would upgrade Carter at the plate.

Larkin rips

Yeah, Chipper is just too good to take out of my lineup more often than not. He hits some clutch HRs all the time for me.
I think I've made my decision. I'm going to go with Posey.

Get Munenori Kawasaki, you'll never lose in DD after.

Both are great, but I’d be in a hurry to move Chipper off SS.

You'd think that but so far I have yet to be burned by him defensively. I don't know what it is about my pitching but I don't get a lot of "tough plays" to shortstop. I have had a few close plays where he barely had enough arm strength to make the throw. I just really love this Chipper card.
That said, it does bug me seeing the "secondary position" banner so there is that.
