Kerry Wood 1st inning program (online strikeouts)

Obviously the first inning is no longer the active featured program, but through collections and showdown, etc you can still add stars to the program.
Are the online challenges that are player specific, (like getting strikeouts with the Player Program Kerry Wood or Homeruns with Granderson) still able to be completed for stars?
Asking because with all collections/showdown/conquest I'm 5 short of 300 stars and would hop online to get the Ks if It would award me those stars.
Can anyone confirm this is possible?

Yep, and as luck would have it, Wood is eligible for the current event.

Yup. Did woods and grandson in the event.

Yeah it works, I was in the same situation. Got the stats for a prospects pack and pulled Pearson, so that was nice.
