madden guys have routinely streamed from remote (home) environments during holidays or even last year when they were off due to the hurricane.

Maybe the difference is the community facing people employed by madden as people who were from the community themselves and already with familiar with streaming and/or had existing setups? That would explain how bad SDS is at community engagement.

Or it could be explained by how EA is much bigger and has wayyyy more resources than SDS

I didn't say anything about their forums. Not sure why you bringing a strawman into the conversation.

    The discussion is about streams.

You said community engagement. That's a broader statement.

Strawman? I made a counter point. Don't bring stupid words into it. It's more than just streams. It's community boards, as well

Sure, they stream more.. they have a much larger team. SDS is a very small studio

It really doesn't take a lot of resources to stream. PLENTY of people doing it.

I personally couldn't care less if they stream or not but the arguments being thrown around for why they haven't are pretty lame. Btw, it's not a stupid word just because you can't comprehend it lmao

Yeah, I don't really care if they stream or not but if they wanted to stream then they could stream. They are software developers. I doubt that multi streaming is beyond them or that their internet is so bad that it is prohibitive. .

Imagine making excuses for a multimillion dollar company lack of "resources" when kids are streaming from their bedrooms lol

I think a part of it is the city in which the team lives. They're definitely laid back compared to other dev teams.

They may be too busy ripping curls, shredding hand rails, scoping babes and hitting up the new local hemp infused craft breweries..

Or all their resources are in next gen and their big rollout to all platforms

I was done with 2k when they released a Galaxy Opal Ben simmons with and 85 3-point rating and limitless range last year lol. As much as people complain about juiced cards such as future stars its nothing compared to giving a 6’10 point guard who can’t normally shoot a 3 ball in the game. At least the future stars aren’t legitimately game-breaking

Not going to catch those guys sitting on a couch together wearing masks and doing a professional looking livestream from home with all parties that would usually be involved is probably a bit challenging right now.
